Godrics Hollow.

Sirius Black quickly jumped off of his motorbike once he had landed. It had been the very one that Lily Potter neé Evans had bought for him almost three years ago. He rushed towards the crowd that surrounded what remained of James and Lily Potters home.

When he had heard the news off his friend, Peter Pettigrew, ratting his godson Harry's location to Lord Voldermort, he ran to warn his best friends.

Only, when he had gotten there, it was too late.

He looked over at the muggle doctors taking the dead bodies of Lily and James and it was like his heart had stopped beating then and there.

'This could not be happening', he thought. Almost a month ago he had lost his fiancé, Ophelia, but to now lose three of his best friends.

Peter Pettigrew. A man who he called his brother ever since they were young boys. A man he thought the world of. He betrayed his family.

He got them killed.

Lily Evans. A girl he watched his best friend chase after for years. Sirius never knew why, at first. But then he watched her mature into an amazing woman. She became apart of his family.

She was now dead.

And lastly, James Potter. His best friend, his brother. His first mate. The boy who may not have been family by blood but was by love. A man who accepted Sirius when no one else did. Who loved and cared for him more than his own blood brother.

He was also dead.

Sirius froze watching the muggles cover up their bodies. Tears started brimming in his eyes and his throat ached. It was like the world was taking away everyone Sirius had loved. Almost as punishment.

His ears perked up at the familiar sound of babies crying. He unfroze and looked around for his godchildren.

Sirius saw a familiar half-giant talking to the people who held two crying babies.

Harry and Ivy.

He ran towards them.

"Hagrid!" He kept calling out.

The half-giant perked up when he saw Sirius and took huge strides towards him.

"Sirius, am I glad to see you! Wait, what're you doin' 'ere? Y'er not allowed to be 'ere. The ministry's comin' for you after what you did, telling you-know-who about little 'arry's whereabouts. Poor Lily and James never saw your betrayal comin'. Blimey, neither did I. No one did. How could you?"

Hagrid would've kept rambling on if Sirius hadn't cut him off, sharply.

"What? Hagrid! Listen to me, I swear to Merlin, I didn't. You know me, you've always known me. Why would I do that? They were my family, I would never sell them out."

"Well then, who did? You were the Secret Keeper-"

"No, no. We changed it at the last minute. Peter was the secret keeper. He told Voldermort where they were hiding. He's the reason they're dead!"
