Frosty grinned down at Kai, amused. Their small blue whiskers twitched slightly, but they did not say anything extra, all they said was.
"Well, if that's what you wish, I suppose we can continue, but are you sure you don't wish to take a break or anything? You seem kind of hurt and-"
"I'm sure, and that was a question, so that means we get to skip four, not three."
Frosty simply sighed in response. It had been a long, long time since they had hosted their gameshow, so they had seemingly lost their edge when it came to accidently asking questions.
It's not like it really mattered though, everything always went wrong for the contestants after question eighty.
"Fine, since you're in such a rush and don't want to spend any time with your favourite game show host, I suppose I can keep asking the questions."
The bodies of the panthers had long disappeared, making Kai a little disappointed as he hadn't gotten to make use of Soul Memorial on them. Who knew what he would have gotten if he did?
After returning to their stand, Frosty got back to asking the questions, ranging from a variety of different categories.
Slowly but surely, they continued to answer the questions correctly. Even though some of the questions took a little time to get them right, it was better than getting them wrong and potentially landing on a much more dangerous foe than six crystal panthers.
Soon enough, the reached the threshold of question sixty, where Frosty became oddly obsessed with TV shows, movies and media for some reason for a few questions, which was kind of unfair considering that neither Remy nor Cecilia had experienced them, meaning only Kai and Petunia were able to answer those questions.
Luckily, with Petunia's in depth knowledge of cartoons and children's shows, and Kai's knowledge of practically everything else, they managed to make it out of that section unharmed.
Questions seventy to seventy-five were a little stranger though, they were all to do with memory games.
Frosty would show a variety of different things, and the group would have to remember what order they came in or what shape was in a certain position, various things like that.
At first, Kai thought this round could have gone badly, considering that the floating feline spirit was not very generous with the amount of time given to memorise each option, but he had turned out to be wrong.
Cecilia was actually really good at these sorts of memory games, and it was then that Kai remembered that the ex-Queen had also been playing these with Petunia, meaning the young child was also pretty good at them.
In fact, with the minor memory enhancement from the Tunic of Rememberance thrown in, she was nearly comparable to Cecilia herself.
Of course, the black haired woman was still a little better than Petunia, which was believable considering that the blonde child was still young and Cecilia had been doing these for a little while longer, but with their combined power they managed to make it to question seventy-five without getting any more questions wrong.
But it was there that things got tricky, questions seventy-five to eighty took on the form of food questions.
Like, how would one go about making a proper cheesecake, brownie and cookie. All of that came in the form of one singular question, which was a little stupid considering that it was practically three questions.
There was also some to do with various strange ingredients in different things, but luckily, Cecilia had some knowledge on the topic, meaning they managed to successfully make it to question eighty without anything bad happening, the only misshap being when Kai had to fight the panthers.
