Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) Various x Oc

Prologue

(This takes place before Sonic met Longclaw.)

On an unknown island, in a village, a few children played in the courtyard happily before a dark grayish blue hedgehog with dark hair and amber eyes approached them.

"Hey there, I'm Damon! What game are you guys playing? Can I join?" The young hedgehog asked excitedly.

The children looked at him with curiosity but eventually allowed him to join them.

"Sure, you can join! We're playing tag." A boy says.

The kids, including Damon starts to play. Soon, Damon was now it and was chasing a bunny girl. He managed to catch up to her and gave her a tap on the back, tagging her. Unintentionally, he pushed her too hard, causing her to fall. Her knees were badly scraped and she bled.

She looked up at Damon with fear and teary eyes. The kids looked at Damon in shock and fear.

"What was that for?!" One of the boys exclaimed.

"I...I didn't mean to! It was an accident!" Damon says.

A few locals of the village rushed over to see what was happening.

"What's going on? Are you children alright?!" A resident asked.

One of the children pointed at Damon, accusingly.

"This hedgehog pushed our friend down!" The child says, as they helped their bunny friend up.

The locals looked at Damon with glares.

"Is this true?"

"It was an accident!" Damon says, trying desperately to defend himself, his eyes glowing slightly, due to his fear.

The locals start to scolds him, voices overlapping as Damon trembles in fear. His powers slowly losing control. Soon a giant figure flew down between the locals and Damon. It was an owl.

"Miss Longclaw!" A resident says in surprise. The crowd's voices went silent as they stare at the owl in surprise.

"What is the meaning of this?" She asked in a calm manner.

"That hedgehog is causing problems in our village! He pushed this poor bunny with such violence!" A local says, motioning to the injured crying bunny girl.

Longclaw looked at Damon who was shaken in terror and nervousness. She then wrapped a wing around him, making him flinch in surprise.

"I'm certain that he didn't mean it.." She says reassuringly.

"What's your name, dear?" She asked softly.

"Damon.." Damon says softly.

"Well, Damon. I'm sure that you didn't mean hurt that bunny, did you?"

"No! I was only playing..." Damon muttered.

"I know.." Longclaw says. She turned to the locals. "I hope this will clear everything. Get the girl to the infirmary." A resident nod their head before taking the bunny to the infirmary.
