On the plane we sat next to Chris obviously, but little to my knowledge Johnnie Guilbert who I had been talking to on Snapchat for a while was in the seat two rows behind me next to Carrington and Jake Webber.
"Hey Johnnie I'm finally going to my first concert, in England!! I wish you were here"
I texted him on snap and sent a selfie of me on the plane just barely catching the top of his head in the frame without realizing.
"That's awesome :)"
He texted back without sending a selfie.
"We're headed to England too"
I smiled softly and then leaned on Katie's shoulder before I texted Johnnie again.
"So Johnnie it's been a few months since I first asked, have you decided?"
A few months prior I had asked Johnnie to adopt me.
"yeah I decided and yes I will adopt you"
My heart stopped for a minute and I accidentally tossed my phone. To be fair I never have a good grip on it but still I hadn't expected it to go flying over one person and land in Johnnie's lap.
"Girl what's going on why did you do the squeaky thing you do when you're excited"
Katie asked me. And I just did my little happy dance not paying attention. Until Chris spoke.
"Excuse me girls the seatbelt light just turned off and I have to use the restroom"
I rolled my eyes and got up deciding to find my phone.
"Hi I'm sorry to bother you ma'am, but have you seen my phone? I accidentally tossed it behind me"
I asked the drag queen who had been sitting behind me.
"of course Hun it flew straight over my head I think it landed on the guy behind me"
She told me.
"thanks for your help"
I then kept walking and saw Johnnie with my phone in his lap.
"Johnnie? Hii, I didn't realize you were on the same plane"
I blushed slightly realizing that my phone had landed on him.
"Excited to have a new dad, huh?"
I nodded rapidly. Gently taking my phone off his lap.
"I mean Chris and Ryan kind of failed so yeah, I'm very excited to finally have a father that cares about me and actually accepts me for who I am"
He smiled softly, y'know that smile he has when he's with Grace.
"Do you want to sit with me? I'm sure Carrington wouldn't mind switching with someone or I could switch with whoever is next to you "
He suggested and I felt my heart skyrocket with happiness as I nodded.
"I would love that"
Johnnie and Katie switched places and I leaned on Johnnie falling asleep.
