As we walked downstairs I felt my gut twist. What if she didn't agree? What if he wants to actually spend time with me? It was painful to think about but we had to do this.
"Mommy"
I mumbled softly as we got downstairs. My mother looked at me and Katie squeezed my hand reassuringly.
"Yes, dear?"
My mother spoke up. I was frozen in place my stomach twisted and I felt like my brain was being blended.
"mommy, Katie got a bunch of concert tickets for me and her in England, before you say anything Ryan already agreed and daddy would be coming with us so we won't be unsupervised"
I was surprised that I managed to say anything.
"Fine, you may go"
My mother agreed quickly. But I didn't have time to question her Katie was dragging me out of the house and to the airport.
