If she were to express everything she felt
She would be locked up like a caged animal
Observed as if she lived in a zoo
Medicated and told the acceptable way to act and feel
So, she locks it up
The fear, anger, pain, trauma, anxiety
She locks it all up
Making sure people remain oblivious of how much she feels
Everything, too much, all the time
It makes her wonder if she really is crazy
Or inexplicably misunderstood
