NO ONE'S POV

"Sure ka ba? baka namamalikmata ka lang." Jhoanna asked doubtfully as she followed Ashley.

Ashley just rolled her eyes at her and pulled her towards the parking lot.

"Shut up, Jho. Hurry up! Mikha needs to know about this." she said, tugging Jhoanna even harder.

"Aray! Dahan-dahan naman!" Jhoanna complained, but Ashley ignored her.

They got into Jhoanna's car and immediately drove to their hideout.

Upon arrival, Ashley went straight to her office, while Jhoanna silently followed her, still grumbling.

Ashley busied herself on her laptop, while Jhoanna, still jet-lagged, occupied herself with cleaning her wounds.

"Call Mikha." Ashley ordered without looking up from the screen.

Jhoanna frowned at her.

Ang kapal, kitang naglilinis ng sugat, uutusan pa?

Jhoanna thought, but she complied anyway.

She dialed Mikha's number several times, but there was no answer, although the phone wasn't out of coverage.

"She's not answering, baka naka dnd at bebetime." Jhoanna informed Ashley, who was still focused on her computer.

"Confirmed, the three of them are part of the Omega organization." Ashley said as she leaned back in her swivel chair.

Jhoanna's expression turned serious. "So they know about Mikha." she stated.

"Probably, Isn't it suspicious? bigla-bigla na lang silang sumusulpot lately."

"They've been hanging out with Aiah and her friends since you transferred here."

"I read na matagal na sila nag-aaral sa Binivelle University, but this is the first time they've interacted with the council." Ashley added, deep in thought.

Jhoanna nodded, also thinking.

She began analyzing all their interactions.

She remembered that Nathan started paying attention to Stacey only after they began spending more time together.

But then, Gelo crossed her mind.

"That guy, Gelo-matagal na siyang kaibigan nila Aiah, Stacey, Maloi, and Sheena." Jhoanna mentioned, which made Ashley pause.

"How about Jeremy and Dustine? Wala kang nakita?" Jhoanna asked.

"None, I did research on them, pero wala naman masyadong information about them." Ashley said while typing again.

Jhoanna nodded thoughtfully. "We'll keep an eye on them, but for now, let's focus on the three. Also, message Mikha and update her so we can form a plan." Ashley ordered.

"Wait lang naman, Ash, akala ko ba ikaw bodyguard niya rito? bakit ako ang utusan mo?" Jhoanna grumbled, her face scrunched in irritation.

Ashley shot her a cold glare.

"Do you want me to inform your parents na nakipagbasag-ulo ka? So they can send you back to the States and let Stacey end up with Nathaniel?" she said, smiling sweetly.

"Typing na, boss." Jhoanna quickly replied.

Mikha was updated on the situation, and from that point on, they worked together to bring down Gelo's organization.
