Ellie excused herself from the tent and freed herself from her shoes as she began walking, she had no idea where she was going and frankly, at the moment she didn't care. She just needed to get away from everyone and breathe.
Ellie inhaled several deep breaths and tried to clear her mind of the old memories that were trying to resurface in her mind. The ones that she had tried so hard to forget. Someone clearing their throat makes Ellie jump. She spun around quickly and frowned at the sight of her brother.
"Whatever it is I'm not in the mood Harry." Harry looked conflicted for a moment before he took a step closer to Ellie.
"Listen El I am so sorry. I had no right to interfere back then, and I know what's going on. Draco told me. I thought that I was doing what was best for you when we were sixteen-" Ellie scoffed and shook her head. The hurt that she had be suppressing for so long began to surface and she wasn't about to hide it now.
"You're meddling even now! Because what? Now you think that Draco is good enough for me. Because you've actually spent time with him?" Harry opened his mouth to reply but shut it quickly when Ellie glared at him.
Ellie threw her hands up in the air. Her anger building.
"You, Ron and Hermione didn't talk to me for weeks after you found out that Draco and I had spent time together. That I- that I cared for him, and you couldn't stand that." Her voice broke and tears brimmed her eyes.
"I know and I'm sorry bug." Ellie could see the regret in Harry's eyes as he looked at his sister. Ellie laughed bitterly.
"You weren't sorry then. You were angry! Now I'm angry! I love you brother but what you did was wrong and What Draco said to you after that was wrong!" Harry flinched at her raised voice. He had never known Ellie to yell.
Harry hated that he had been a part of hurting his sister in a way that he knew that she wouldn't ever get over. Ellie screamed in frustration.
"The worst part of all of it! Was when I was called a distraction by the first boy that I thought that I loved and then it drove me into the arms of LORENZO BERKSHIRE! Merlin! Now that was a stupid choice!"
Tears slid down Ellie's face as she forced herself to sob slightly. Harry took a step toward her. He wanted to comfort his sister. Ellie held her hand up and Harry stopped moving.
"The Last thing that I want is your pity! I got through it ALONE and I will get through whatever is going on with me now ALONE!" She snapped at him. She inhaled a shuttered breath and wiped her cheeks roughly.
"Ellie please." Ellie cleared her throat and shook her head.
"Don't worry. I'll be over it a few days. That's what you told Hermione right? Ellie always the one to bounce back like nothing could hurt her. News flash! Every time that YOU lost someone, I LOST SOMEONE TOO! But I wasn't allowed to be the one that grieved!"
Molly rushed forward wrapping her arms around Ellie and stroked her hair gently trying to get her to calm down.
Ellie clung to Molly for dear life and sobbed into her shoulder. Molly glanced over to Harry and smiled softly.
"I've got her dear. Got back in the tent with the others." Molly ushered Ellie back into the house and settled her down on the couch with a blanket and a hot cup of coco.
"Remus said that hot chocolate always cheered you up when you were sad." Ellie swallowed the lump that was forming in her throat and smiled down at the hot chocolate in her hands.
"It does. I'm sorry about my outburst Aunt Molly." Molly waved her off and sat down across from her on the coffee table.
"I was worried about you for a long time because you kept your emotions locked down. But today. I am so proud of you." Ellie laughed and sniffled as her nose ran a little.
"Not. About Draco." Ellie sighed and took a sip of the hot chocolate.
"I'd rather not talk about that." Molly smiled and nodded.
"You want yours Dads for a conversation like this." Ellie huffed a small sob and nodded her head without looking up.
"Then you should talk to them." Ellie's head shot up at the sound of Hermione's voice in the doorway.
"Mione. What are you talking about?" Molly patted Ellie's leg before getting up and walking out of the room.
"Normally I wouldn't suggest something like this because we it is dangerous. But I can see how much you are hurting. McGonagall has a time turner, and I know that if it is you that is asking, she will allow you to use it." Hermione sighed as she sat down next to Ellie.
"But I thought that you destroyed it?" Hermione laughed quietly.
"I told your brother that. Because Sirius had just died, and I knew that he would try to do something stupid. But you need them right now." Hermione reached over and took Ellie's hand giving it a reassuring squeeze. Ellie smiled through the new set of tears that were forming.
"Thank you, Hermione."
