Ellie excused herself from the dining room and made herself busy in the kitchen as she started putting away the leftovers. Her face was finally cooling down and her heart had returned to a regular pace.

She began mumbling to herself as she put things away. She frowned at the thought of having a big wedding like Narcissa had suggested and then she wanted to throw a formal engagement party like the ministry hadn't forced them into it.

"You do remember that you have magic and that could be done in seconds?" Ellie growled a sigh as she lifted her gaze to Draco leaning against the door frame. An upside-down smile appeared on Draco's mouth as he tried to hide his amusement at the clear frustration on Ellie's face.

"So was the death eater an excuse to get out of this dinner?" She snapped, slamming a lid down on a bowl. Draco pushed off the door frame and entered the kitchen.

"It wasn't an excuse. And I am sorry that we missed the dinner." Ellie rolled her eyes and decided that it was best to just ignore his presence and continue cleaning up.

"Well has she asked you yet if you want children or was that question just for me?" Ellie grumbled. Draco chuckled and shook his head.

"She asked me the same thing as soon as she found of about the arranged marriage." Ellie rolled her eyes again and said nothing. She was irritated and didn't want to say something to start a fight.

"Are you hungry?" Draco sat down at the island across from where Ellie stood.

"I could eat." Ellie nodded and quietly made him a plate of curry, setting it down in front of him as she went back to cleaning. Draco stared down at the plate curiously.

"What is it?" Ellie giggled and turned back to him.

"Curry? It's a muggle dish." Draco frowned and glanced up at her.

"Scared of something muggle Draco?" He rolled his eyes and took a small bite. Ellie watched him curiously and smiled when he looked slightly impressed by the dish and took another bite. Draco's eat twitched and Ellie giggled pulling down a glass and pouring lemonade into it before setting it down in front of him.

"I'm sorry. It's a little on the spicy side." Draco took a sip from the glass and arched an eyebrow at her.

"So, you like spicy foods then?" Ellie leaned her hip and against the island and shrugged thoughtfully.

"I suppose that I do. And I take it that you aren't fond of spicy?" Draco glanced down at the curry and then back to Ellie.

"That obvious, is it?" She smiled and shook head.

"Sort of. I won't be offended if you don't eat it." She said reaching for the plate.

"I'll wash it." Ellie frowned and took the plate.

"I don't need you to do that." She countered moving toward the sink.

"You look beautiful by the way." Ellie felt warmth creep up from her neck into her face as she tossed the remaining food in a bowl and began washing the dish.

"Sirius picked it out. I think that he was more nervous that I was to meet your mum." Draco chuckled and stood up from his seat and moved to the wet dishes and began drying them.

"You had nothing to worry about." Ellie rolled her eyes and glanced up at him.

"Did you miss the part where your mother asked me if I wanted children?" Draco fought a smile as he looked down at her.

"Well, do you?" Her heart jumped into her throat as she stared at him. Why in the bloody hell would he ask me something like that?!

"I don't know. I guess that I've never thought about it." She glanced down at the water in the sink.

"After Enzo, I wasn't fond of the idea of dating anyone again." Draco inhaled a sharp breath and set down the plate that he was holding.

"What happened between you two?" Ellie bit down on her bottom lip and peeked up at him. There is no way that he was actually interested in what happened.

"Just another boring Gryffindor." Draco snorted and looked at her as if she was joking. But Ellie took a step back away from him and forced a tight smile.

"You're not joking? He said that to you?" Ellie shrugged and moved to put things away in the fridge.

"It's alright. It isn't the worst thing that I have heard about myself." Draco flexed his hand at his side and stood there watching her as she busied herself.

"Ellie its untrue. Whatever he said to you." Ellie smiled sadly and shook her head. She turned to look at Draco and noticed blood was soaking his side.

Ellie rushed forward without much thought and started unbuttoning the lower half of his shirt. Draco stiffened at her action.

"What happened?! Why are you bleeding?!" The shakiness in her voice stilled his pulse as he watched her open his shirt and inhale a sharp breath seeing the bandage wrapped around his middle.

"Little wolf it's fine." Ellie frowned and lightly touched the wound. Draco hissed and moved away from her touch. Ellie's eyes roamed his toned chest.

"Why haven't you seen a healer?" Draco's face flushed slightly as he cleared his throat.

"I was late." Ellie's mouth fell open as her head snapped up toward him.

"What? You haven't seen a healer yet because you were late. Draco you are hurt!" Draco smirked.
