A Tour

"Pish posh" Tony snorted, trying to shove past me, but I blocked his path once more.

"Shield has been mad at me in the past, and I've dealt with it."

"No way," I stated, stand firm. "I risk a lot by bringing you here. If you leave me now, it could backfire on me or it will all be for nothing if you get captured."

Tony opened his mouth as if to retort, but closed it, quickly reconsidering.

"Fine," He said finally. "But I'm going to tell Pepper not to go back to the tower until Shield gets some sense knocked back into them."

I press my lips together. Using any technology inside of camp was risky. Sending a message was even riskier , but I knew I had to give Tony something.

"I'll Deliver the message," I said, with the sigh. I cut Tony off before he could protest. "I swear on the gods, I'll send it to Pepper." Tony threw his hands up and exasperation.

"I can't even send a text here."  He glared at me before starting to get up from the couch. When he got halfway to his feet, he plopped back down.

"Oh, I forgot," Tony said patronizingly. "Do I have your permission to stand up."

" You don't with that attitude," I said, waggling a finger at him. "Tell me the message and stay right there. I'll be back in a minute."

"Oh, ha, ha." Tony deadpanned, "Tell Pepper to stay at her friend's house for a little longer and not to go to the tower. Tell her that, I am in a little trouble with shield, but I'll be fine."

"Don't go to the tower. Stay with friend. You're fine." I ticked off on my fingers. I ducked out of the room and started walking to Chiron's office. After a couple steps, I turned around and popped my head back into the living room.

"What is Pepper's email address?" Tony raddled it off  I walked back out of the room. "and don't touch anything!" I yelled over my shoulder, knowing it was no use.

I had to Chiron's office. I hunched over the computer on his desk, pulling up irismail.com. Picking up a drachma from a small bowl I threw it at the computer.

"Iris, would you please deliver a message to Pepper Potts?" I asked the sky as the drachma winked out right before it it the computer. I typed out Tony's message on the screen, triple-checking it for spelling errors before clicking the rainbow send button.

Please let that get to Pepper. I prayed to the gods, speed walking back to Tony. Iris had only recently started email and some form of snapchat to be more "hip" and the messages didn't always go where they were supposed to.

As I cam back into the living room, Tony had, sure enough, moved. He was standing near the wall, poking at the  leopard head. The leopard was snarling at him, biting the air every time he came near, but Tony persisted.

"How did you make it so realistic?" Tony wondered, studying the cat from all sides.

"Cause he is real."

Tony snorted in disbelief.

"If you are surprised by that you are in for a treat. I think it is high time I show you Camp Half-Blood."

This time as I showed someone around camp, reactions were different. No one came over to introduce themselves or wave hi to me. As I guided Tony around camp, kids stared at us. Whispers were passed behind cupped hands as untrusting looks glared above them.

When we stopped for lunch in the pavilion for the first time I was glad I sat alone. The name Tony Stark was being passed like hot potato around the campers. Kids who would normally go to the end of their table to sit by me were giving the table a wide berth. As Will and Nico walked in they gave me a puzzled look. Will pointed at Tony's back before giving a "what?" shrug. I waved my hand non-chalantly trying to convey I would tell them later and it was no big deal. I didn't mis the concerned look they gave each other as they walked to their seats, though.

Tony and I spent the lunch chatting, exchanging snide comments, acting like we didn't notice the others. I could tell by the way Tony's eyes darted around and by the jabs he made at the campers that he was as bothered as I was. As lunch finished up Tony and I stayed put, waiting for the campers to shuffle into their cabins for "mandatory chill time", or in Mr. D's words "time to stop bothering me so I can play pinocle in silence for once in my life"

I continued on with the tour. Mr. D would be playing pinocle on the other side of camp and Chiron trusted me, or rather I had saved the world too many times for him to punish me. Besides it was nice to show Tony around the cabins without being stared at. I went around to all the cabins pointing each one out to Tony and explaining which god it belonged to. As we approached the Ares cabin, a bloody spear flew through a window, landing in front of me.

"Watch out!" Tony exclaimed, jumping back, raising his bare hands like he was going to shoot lasers out of them. I looked up at the cabin, rolling my eyes.

"Really?" I shouted up at the camper's faces in the window.

"Sorry, man. Can you throw it up?" Matthew asked, sticking a hand out the window to catch it.

"Someone needs to call CPS," Tony muttered loudly.

"You have no idea." I chuckled before yelling up to Matthew.

"I'm going to place it next to the back door." Matthew gave me a thumbs up before popping his head back in the cabin. After telling Tony, once again, to not move or touch anything, I made my was to the back of the cabin.

As I walked to the back I stepped over barbed wire and small explosives, giving the cabin a wide berth. If it was any other cabin I would of dropped it off at the front, but the Ares cabin had more booby traps then there was guarding the Hephaestus cabin's Cheeto stash.

I turned the corner, nearly tripping over a barbed wire as I set the spear near the back door. Before I could get back to Tony a calloused hand grabbed me roughly by the arm, yanking me back behind the cabin.

"What do you think you are doing?" Clarisse's voice snarled in my ear.

"Helpfully returning one of your cabin's weapons." I replied, turning to face her.

"You know what I mean." She whispered back. Her hair was tied up with a blood red bandana. She stood in a defensive stance, her combat boots planted firmly on the ground.

"You brought Tony Stark into camp. This is going to end badly for us."

"No, it won't," I said rolling my eyes. Could someone trust me for once? "We are friends."

"Yeah, right. So he is just going to go on his merry little way after finding out there is a world out there he know nothing about."

"Yes, he will." I replied. "Now, if you don't mind, I have a tour to finish."

As I arrived back to the front of the cabin I noticed Tony kneeling on the ground. I walked up behind him, waiting for him to finish tying his shoe, but his hand wasn't wrapped around his shoelace. His hands held a scrap of bloody fabric left by the spear. I watched as Tony slipped the demigod blood into his pocket and turn around.

He locked eyes with me, his going wide as they met my glaring ones. He put his hands up in defense, but I was faster.

"I trusted you."
