Yan scoffed, rolling his eyes. "I have better things to do than waste my time trying to get back at deadbeats like her. Oops, guess that was a bad joke." Yan said, seemingly boasting about his inappropriate humor.

Justice tenses his jaw. "Listen you little weasel, I have enough reason to take you in for questioning, so I'd stop it with the disgusting remarks. Now, have you seen anyone that looked suspicious around the past couple of days? Anyone that may have come to you, looking for a job perhaps?"

"No, nothing like that. Looks suspicious? Ask around, you'll find most of the Sandrock citizens have a reason not to like her. She had at least six people invest in her miserable failure of Catori world, and they all got screwed, including me. That new builder Jordan might look innocent and she's boinking that bandit Logan, but she can't stand Catori the most. I think because she once made a pass at Logan and got jealous." Yan laughed, his laugh sounding like a Hyena with a head cold.

Justice groaned, getting up and headed toward the door. "Let me know if you think of anyone or anything that might help." Justice left, glad to be away from Yan. He smelled bad and his attitude stunk even worse.

Now he'd have to interview practically the entire town. Justice ran toward Civil Corps to get his horse and then he'd head out to see if he could get some more interviews done before going to the cemetery to help Zeke and Mort put Catori to rest.

At the end of the day, Justice had interviewed about twenty people with the same story, they didn't see anything and about five people said she owed them money for various reasons, including the investment into Catori world, adding to nearly $900,000.

Justice had gone back to the game center and picked up the financial information for Catori World and began pouring over it to see if it gave him a clue why she'd been murdered. It was a repeat pattern of people investing into her idea only to get stiffed in the end. Maybe she didn't do it on purpose, but it didn't matter to investors, especially one's with connections to people who made it their business to make people pay if they didn't get their money back.

What's more, Catori World was in debt more than what she owed investors. She was bankrupt but managed to fix the books to make it look like she was profiting instead of losing business. Justice couldn't believe what he was reading. Most of the people in Sandrock weren't that angry they'd lost their money but said their friendships had ended with her over it.

There was something beside the murder weapon missing in this whole mess, a suspect. Everyone had a motive but not one person he'd talked to showed anything like injuries he suspected the attacker had because of the blood found in her office. Whomever it was, was not from Sandrock and had fled after the Crime. No one saw anything and he had zero to go on for a suspect, except for that blood drop.

Justice went to the evidence locker in back to get the sample of blood. He had to take it to Fang right away. He had become an expert in experiments and could do a DNA test on it. Maybe it would tell him who the blood belonged to.

Justice ran from the Civil Corps, mounting his horse and made a mad dash for the clinic. He entered the clinic, breathless and handed the sample to Fang. "I need you to do a DNA test on this. I have reason to believe it belongs to the killer."
