Jordan let out a breath. "Thank goodness. I think we're just spooked from everything that's happened." Jordan got dressed and Logan sat down beside her, pulling her into his arms.

"Yes, you're probably right. I'm sure it's nothing." Logan reassured her, not knowing if he believed what he said. He was getting a spooky feeling about everything.

What they hadn't seen when Logan went to the door was a dark figure disappearing around the corner. The figure was barefoot and covered in dirt and had fingernails missing from the left hand. The flesh was decayed and coming apart everywhere on the body and smelled of rotting flesh. The figure paused outside the window, looking in, rotting flesh that had live maggots squirming in their cheek and their mouths caked in dirt and grass as if they'd tried to eat their way out of something. Their skull bald except for one lock of long, dark hair covered in dirt and grass.

Sunken eyes with the right eye, hanging onto one nearly rotted eyeball by a thread of grayed, rotten flesh. A small rat crawled out of the figure's mouth, dropping to the ground and scurried away as the figure headed toward where Wei slept soundly in Yan's bed at the Commerce building. The figure seeming to be made of real flesh that was decomposing, simply vanished into thin air as they stood outside the door of Yans house.

The rotting figure appeared again, looking down at Wei sleeping on his side, unaware of the evil that stood by his bed. The figure's mouth opened, and a black fog began to pour from its mouth and into Wei's mouth and nose like a cloud. Wei didn't stir but his mouth made choking sounds briefly before quieting again as the evil took hold.

The dark, rotting figure vanished again, disappearing as if they'd never been there. When Wei woke the next morning, he felt different, more tired and felt grumpy and in a bad mood. Wei frowned and got up, stretching his muscles before going to the bathroom for a shower and getting ready for the day.

As he was getting ready to leave, he noticed a dark gray spot on his hand and when he scratched at it, the skin seemed to deteriorate at the slightest touch, and it didn't even bleed but instead turned dark gray. Wei let out a gasp of surprise and when he looked again, his hand was back to normal. He scratched his head. "Am I imagining things?"

He decided he must be and left for the Commerce building. When he got there, he tossed the picture of Yan in the garbage and sat at the desk, putting his feet up on the desk and cradling his head in his hands as he leaned back. "Yes Yan, thank you for leaving your position rather abruptly. I'm going to enjoy this as I terrorize this town to its core."

Wei and Miguel planned to move Yan's body to the forest where they'd taken Catori tonight and then they'd get rid of Arvio. He'd become nosier than ever, and Wei found him lurking outside the Church Dormitory just after Miguel had gone inside when they'd been talking a few minutes before.

Wei frowned, wondering how they could get rid of the town's nosiest citizen without being caught. Perhaps Arvio would suffer a serious accident, after all, the temple was on a hill. It would be a shame if he were to plummet to his death. Wei let out an evil laugh and felt joy at the thought. Yes, it was the perfect solution. What's more, is that Justice would be the one to cause his fall. Everything was falling into place. Yes, it was all going according to plan.
