Jordan explained to Owen what UnSuur told him and when she was done, Owen was wide eyed. "Damn, this is super creepy. Maybe someone just stole her body, but it doesn't explain about the scratches inside or the blood. Maybe she wasn't really dead."

Jordan shivered. "Well, she'd have to be immortal for that cause she was declared dead by Fang and she was cold when she was found. Plus having all those wounds. This just gives me the creeps."

Just then, UnSuur comes in, walking over to them and Jordan could tell he's still shaken up. "Come on UnSuur, I want to see this for myself." Jordan said by to Owen and left the Blue Moon with UnSuur trailing behind and they headed to the cemetery.

When they got there, they went up to where Catori had been placed and the coffin was above ground now and the lid had been nearly ripped apart with scratches on the inside of the lid. Jordan inspected it further and could see a piece of fingernail embedded in the wood and what looked like bits of flesh. Jordan shivered and moved away, not touching it.

She looked down and saw a pair of footprints that looked to be barefoot. "Was she buried with or without shoes UnSuur?" Jordan asked, seeing that the prints led away from the grave. She followed them out the gate and they just disappeared after that.

"She was buried barefoot, why?" UnSuur looked down to where Jordan had been looking and swallowed. "This shit is getting creepier by the minute Jordan. What the hell is going on here?" UnSuur nearly had a heart attack when the screech of an owl pierced the night air.

They'd been investigating for so long, the day turned to dusk, and they were losing sunlight. As Jordan was about to suggest going home, they heard a commotion at the Blue Moon. She ran with UnSuur following behind to the Blue Moon to see what was going on. When they got there, Logan and Justice were back, and they had Commander Lefu and he was shackled at the hands and feet.

Jordan ran up to Logan and hugged him. "I'm so glad your back safe. Good, you got him, maybe we'll all rest easier once he's in jail." She said, her arm around Logan's waist.

"Yes, it wasn't easy to find him. Some of his men had him hidden but we managed to find his whereabouts." Logan smiled at Jordan and gave her a kiss.

"What's been going on while I've been gone?" Logan asked and UnSuur and Justice took over, taking Lefu to the Civil Corps.

Jordan and Logan walked back to the workshop and Jordan filled Logan in on what they'd found. Logan raised his brows in surprise. "Now are we going to have to worry about a zombie or something wandering around Sandrock? This place is giving me the creeps darlin."

They went inside and Grace sat on the sofa watching TV. "Zoe is sound asleep. She woke up once and I fed her but now she's sleeping soundly." Grace caught the look between them. "What's going on?"

Logan and Jordan filled her in, and Grace looked shocked. "I know it's getting close to Halloween but is this shit for real?"

Jordan nodded. "I saw it for myself, the coffin, the prints, everything. I now think Lefu wasn't the one that killed her but if he didn't, who did?" It was a question that would soon be answered.
