They were in a stunning green forest filled with purple and pink flowers for the video shoot. BTS was to collaborate with a female idol for their upcoming music video.
As she watched the scene unfold, Y/N couldn't help but notice the way the girl smiled at Jungkook, the way she clutched his hand—it was almost too sweet, making it painfully obvious that they could be more than just friends.
The female singer seemed to ignore everyone else, her focus solely on Jungkook. Y/N felt a pang of jealousy twist in her stomach. From the outside, it looked like Jungkook was dating this gorgeous, charismatic woman, but Y/N knew he wasn't seeing anyone at the moment.
She could have believed the rumors if she hadn't dated Jungkook in the past. Hearing his conversation with Namjoon yesterday had softened a part of her heart, reminding her that there was still something left between them, something worth exploring.
Y/N had thought that maybe Jungkook would give up on her after she treated him the way he had treated her—arrogantly, with an attitude and bursts of anger.
But despite all of that, he remained the same flirty Jungkook he had always been, and it made her reconsider everything.
She mulled over the marriage topic that had been on Jungkook's mind. If he were to propose, what answer could she give him?
That moment in the elevator when Jungkook supported her through her claustrophobia, she knew that he was so much more than just an idol.
He also played a significant role in helping her overcome self-harm.
Jungkook had unknowingly helped her overcome so many insecurities and self-doubts.
Countless moments had passed between them, some sweet, some bitter, and some filled with tension, each moment contributing to their evolving relationship.
She found herself yearning to explore those moments further. The thought of Jungkook as her husband felt so incredibly good that it seemed almost too good to be true.
The thought of calling Jungkook her husband made her heart skip a beat, and she couldn't help but imagine their future together.
She was thrilled by the prospect of being with Jungkook, but she couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty.
Could he truly embrace a normal, stress-free life with her?
Being an idol seemed so integral to him, an intoxicating part of his identity.
As she watched him, she pondered: Was he giving up his career out of guilt after the breakup, or was he worried about losing her if he continued to be an idol?
