The sterile white walls of the hospital room were a familiar sight

The sterile white walls of the hospital room were a familiar sight. Machines beeped steadily, tracking the fragile balance of life. Y/N L/N lay in his bed, his body weakened by the rare disease that had confined him to this room for most of his life. Tubes ran from his arm, connected to machines that seemed more a part of him now than his own body. But his mind was free—free to escape through the stories he loved.

The TV flickered in front of him, playing The Legend of Vox Machina. Y/N had been hooked ever since he stumbled upon it. A world of swords, magic, and heroes—so unlike his own. He had seen every episode, waiting eagerly for the latest in the third season. This fantasy world of Tal'Dorei had given him something to hold on to, something to dream about as his body slowly failed him. As the vibrant characters of Vox Machina fought dragons and uncovered ancient secrets, Y/N wished he could be part of that world. A place where weakness didn't define you, where strength and courage could shape your destiny.

It was just before dawn when it happened. A sudden spike on the monitors sent alarms blaring. Nurses rushed in, doctors followed, and Y/N's world became a blur of frantic movement and panicked voices. He could feel his body slipping away, the disease claiming what little strength he had left. But his mind was somewhere else—somewhere deep in the forests of Tal'Dorei, where adventurers faced danger head-on, where there were no hospital beds, no tubes, no weakness.

As the beeping on the monitors flatlined, Y/N slipped into darkness. But it wasn't the end.

A bright light surrounded him, warm and soft. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before. He stood—strong, healthy, his body no longer a prison. And before him, a figure appeared—an entity whose presence was overwhelming, ancient, and powerful.

"Your time on Earth has ended," the entity said, its voice like a low rumble through the fabric of the universe

"Your time on Earth has ended," the entity said, its voice like a low rumble through the fabric of the universe. "But your life need not be over. I can offer you a chance—one final wish." he said. Y/N's heart raced. He had always dreamed of something more, and now, with this mysterious being offering him a second chance, his mind raced. What did he want? What had he always longed for? After what felt like an eternity, he spoke, his voice steady for the first time in years. "I want to live in the world of Vox Machina," he said. "But not as I was. I want to be powerful. I want a gauntlet—a device that can transform me into the giant mechs and robots I've seen in the shows I loved—Transformers, Pacific Rim, those kinds. I want to be able to control my transformations. Large or small. And I want it to be limitless. And... I want to be ready for whatever is coming." he said.
