Amara walked into the filming set greeted by the crew. They told her how she was not gonna do any acting today but will be discussing the soundtrack with the producers. She was going to add her own touch and sing on the songs, kind of like a remix. The track list included Milli Vanilli songs, who she loves despite the lip syncing scandal, and popular 80s hits.
After a long day of working with the music crew, she was on her way to get to know the cast. Her heart was beating so fast, this was it. Many months of no contact, she was about to come face to face with her ex.
" Oh my god. The moment I heard that the Amara De Luca is working with us, I started fangirling. I am Cooper koch by the way," She shakes hand with the charming & funny actor. She has already heard of him from her agent and that he is super nice and lovely.
" Thank you! I am honestly super excited, I haven't really worked on anything in almost a year," Cooper grimaces definitely figuring out the reason and she wonders if him and Nicholas ever talked about her, especially since they have been spending so much time together playing literal brothers on set. But she wasn't about to bring it up now, maybe later when they're alone.
" It's fine, everyone goes through something and sometimes a break is needed. I love your nails by the way," Her and Cooper keep chatting and they get along very well, easing her nerves a bit. She can tell they're about to be great friends.
She meets the actors who play the parents and she gushes to Javier Bardem who plays Jose Menendez about how much she loves his acting and is a huge fan. She senses someone looking at her from the corners of her eyes and tenses up a bit.
" Hey," Nicholas comes up to her shaking her hand politely. She greets him back formally. " Congratulations on the role,"
" Thanks. You too," He awkwardly chuckles rubbing his neck. Everyone can sense the tension between them, even the older actors who are not aware of the reason since they are not familiar with the gossip. Copper breaks the tension by asking her about the music for the soundtrack and they all chat about it, jumping from topic to topic. She looks at Cooper with a thankful look on her face and he nods as if saying it's no big deal. She can't help stealing glances at Nicholas and notices him doing the same, they hold eye contact for a few seconds before breaking it. This will be a long few months,she thought.
