"YOU FUCKING AGREE WITH THIS?" Gigil na gigil na sigaw ni Jhoanna kay Colet while holding her by the collar, habang si Gwen ay todo hila sa kanya palayo rito.
Wala namang magawa sila Stacey, Maloi, at Sheena, at pinapanood lang ang mga magkakaibigan sa pagtatalo, lalo na't hindi rin naman inaawat ng elders ang mga ito, thinking that Jhoanna is just being an unreasonable, impulsive kid.
When Jhoanna asked where Mikha's whereabouts were, her parents answered her and informed her about the wedding arrangements between Colet and Aiah.
"Jho, tama na." Gwen stated habang hinihila si Jhoanna palayo, but to her shock, the latter pushed her and gave her a displeased look.
The people around them gasped, lalo na si Aiah at mga kaibigan nito.
"Huwag mong kampihan kaibigan mo." Jhoanna warned, at bumaling ulit kay Colet.
"You know how much Mikha loves Ate Aiah, then you agreed with this fucking arrangement?" Jhoanna angrily said, but Colet just looked at her na parang walang balak magpaliwanag, causing Jhoanna's blood to boil even more.
She readied herself to punch her Ate Colet, not thinking of any respect for the elder.
"Jhoanna Christine Robles, enough." Jhoanna's mother warned nang makita ang binabalak gawin ng anak.
"It's a mutual agreement between me and the Arcetas." Colet's father stated, causing Jhoanna's ears to burn even more.
She let go of Colet and turned her gaze to the elders.
"What's wrong with you?!" Hindi niya mapigilan ang magtaas ng boses, and she looked at them with disbelief.
"Alam kong you're not dumb not to know that Ate Aiah and Mikha have a relationship, tapos you'll come up with this stupid arrangement?"
Colet finally spoke.
"Hindi lahat ng bagay kailangan mong maintindihan, Jhoanna."
Jhoanna clenched her fists while her face red with frustration. "Hindi ko kailangang maintindihan?! This is Mikha we're talking about! How can you just-"
"Jhoanna, enough." Aiah's voice cuts her off. She stepped forward and looked at Jhoanna straightly.
"This was my decision too."
Jhoanna turned to Aiah with disbelief.
"Ate Aiah, no! You can't be serious. Alam mong mahal ka ni Mikha. You're just gonna throw that away for some stupid arranged marriage?"
Aiah's eyes softened pero nong naisip n'ya na how Mikha lied her expression hardened.
"This is what's best for both families."
Jhoanna shook her head and took a step back.
"No, Ate. You're just giving up. You're letting them control your life." She looked at Colet again.
"And you, you're just standing by, watching, agreeing to this? What kind of friend are you?"
Colet met Jhoanna's gaze at tahimik pa rin ito and her calmness only fueled Jhoanna's anger.
"Jho, let's talk about this later." Gwen said trying to diffuse the situation.
But Jhoanna was far from calming down.
"Shut up! They're ruining everything, and everyone's just standing by, letting it happen!" She looked around at her friends, her eyes pleading, but none of them moved.
