Enemies to Lovers

Part 2

As they arrive to Tim's house they both jump out of his truck and grab her boxes, not saying a word. As they enter the house Lucy sits her boxes down on the floor as Kojo runs to her.
Lucy: hey baby, I missed you.
Tim: he has never ran to me like that
Lucy: is your daddy jealous?
She says as she's petting him
Tim's thoughts: what did she just say?
Tim: are we just gonna stand here or are you going to un-pack?
Lucy: shut up Tim, I'll in-pack when I'm ready.
Tim rolls his eyes
She finishes petting Kojo and goes to get her boxes to take them to the guest room.
Lucy: happy?
Tim doesn't respond and just sits on the couch turning on a game.
Lucy: are you going to give me a tour? I have never been here before.
Tim sighs and shuts off the TV before getting off the couch and turning to the long corridor ahead of them.
He heads to the first door down
Tim: guest bathroom
He heads down another door
Tim: gym
Another door
Tim: your bedroom
And another door
Tim: my bedroom
And he walks back and heads to the sliding door separating them from the outside
He walks outside, Lucy and Kojo trailing behind him.
Tim: over here is the outdoor kitchen and lounge area
As he points in another direction
Tim: over here is a pool and hot-tub
That's it
And obviously the kitchen, dining that I barely use, and the family room.
Lucy: thanks. I guess?
As he goes back to the couch to turn the game back on, Lucy goes into her room and unpacks her bags.
After she finishes she comes out into the living room on the other side of the couch and pulls out her phone, Kojo runs to her laying on her legs as she rubs him.
Tim's thoughts: gosh Shes so beautiful
What. Tim no. You can't fall for your boot.

Lucy and Tim sit on the couch for a while before Tim gets up to make himself lunch
He comes back to the couch to start eating
Lucy: where's mine?
Tim: your a grown woman, make your own food
Lucy: wow. So sweet
She gets up and makes herself lunch and sits back down until sits time to go to bed
Lucy heads to her room
Lucy: goodnight
Tim: goodni-
He gets cut off by her shutting her door.
Tim: okay.
Lucy lays down on her bed, after few minutes later she drifts off to sleep.

Tim shortly after heads to his room, Kojo following behind him.
He lays down on his bed and drifts off to sleep as Kojo lays next to him.
He wakes up at 2 am from hearing noises coming from Lucy's room.
He gets up and goes to Lucy's room, knocking on the door. She doesn't answer and he runs in.
He walks in to see Lucy in the bed with her knees up to her chest rocking back and forth, crying.
He runs over to her and tries to wrap his arms around her but she swats him away.
Lucy: stop, no. Please!
Tim: Lucy, Lucy. It's me. Tim. Your okay.
Lucy gets pulled out of her trance.
Lucy: T..T.Tim?
Tim: yeah, Lucy, it's me. Your okay.
He wraps her up in a tight embrace as she sobs into his chest.
Her sobs start to sound lighter as he realizes she is drifting off to sleep.
He lays there, awake for a while until he knows Lucy is in a deep sleep before falling asleep himself, Lucy still held tight in his arms.

Morning comes around, light beaming into her room until she flutters her eyes open by hearing Kojo trailing down the hall.
She shortly realizes that she is rested on Tim, his arms wrapped around her. She liked this, she felt safe.
Tim slowly opened his eyes to see Lucy awake still in his arms, petting Kojo.
He smiles for a second before talking to her
Tim: good morning
Lucy: good morning
Tim: are you going to tell me what happened last night?
Lucy: uhm. I had a nightmare. About,... Caleb.
She started to tear up before Tim wrapped her in his arms again.
Tim: it's okay Luce. Your safe. He's dead, he's never going to touch you again.
Lucy nodded
He let go of her
Lucy: thanks Tim, it really means a lot.
They both get locked into each others eyes before quickly pulling away from each others gaze
She climbs out of bed to go to the bathroom
Tim gets out of her bed shortly after and gets ready for work.
After quickly getting dressed he headed to the kitchen, pouring him and Lucy a cup of coffee
A few minutes later Lucy walked out, her hair was curled, she was wearing a long black skirt and a blue silky shirt and boots.
Lucy: thanks for the coffee
Tim: your welcome, I normally wouldn't have done that but I figured you needed it from your long night last night.
Lucy: yeah I really did.
Ready for work?
Tim: uh. Yeah let me just grab my keys and we can go.
