Enemies to Lovers

Part 7

Lucy wakes up with the sun beaming through the windows and Tim lying peacefully beside her.
She smiles, climbs out of bed, and goes into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee.
As she makes her coffee she goes to drink it but finds that it smells funny. She sits it back down and tries to ignore it so she heads into the bathroom and fixes her hair.
She headed back into the bedroom to see that Tim had woken up and was scrolling through his phone.
Lucy: Morning Handsome
Tim: Morning Princess
He put his phone down and slowly walked up to her and closed the space between them with a short and sweet kiss before going into the kitchen to make himself some coffee.
He sees Lucy's cup on the counter
Tim: Babe, why didn't you drink your coffee?
Lucy: oh it smelt funny so I didn't drink it
Tim: it smells fine to me
Lucy: oh. Maybe I'm coming down with something
Tim: Mmm okay. He fixes himself a coffee while Lucy lets Kojo outside.
Lucy: come on babe we need to get ready for work
She headed through to the bedroom and went to the closet
Tim: coming
Lucy grabbed her clothes out and they both got dressed Lucy walked into the bathroom to do her makeup when she felt nauseated.
She quickly bent over the toilet seat and threw up
Tim heard her sounds and rushed into the bathroom.
Tim: Oh, Baby.
He held her hair up and one of his hands was drawing circles on her back to calm her down
Lucy: whats wrong with me Tim?
Tim: I don't know baby, maybe you ate something wrong?
Lucy: Probably
She cuddled more into Tim's chest and rested her head in the crook of his neck, soaking the hem of his shirt in her tears
Tim: shhh it's okay princess, I've got you
She finally calms down a bit and turns her head up to look at Tim
Tim: do you need me to stay home with you today?
Lucy: no, I'll be okay to go to work
Tim: Okay, if your sure. But I think we should tell them about us, we've kept it a secret for a while and I don't know how much longer I can go.
Lucy: Okay, we probably should.
Lucy attempts to get off of the floor before Tim grabs her hand and slowly pulls her up
Lucy: thanks babe
Tim: Always.
They get out of the bathroom and Lucy puts her shoes on as they head out the door Lucy bends down to Kojo and kisses him on the head.
Lucy: Bye, Kojo.
They head out the door and get into Tims truck
As they arrive up at the station Tim grabs her hand and they walk in together, quickly releasing their grip on each other
Lucy and Tim both head into Greys office to discuss their work relationship
Tim knocks on the side of greys door that was open
Grey: Chen, Bradford, something you need?
Tim: umm yes
They sit on the couch in his office
Tim: me and Lucy, started dating, a few weeks ago
Grey leans back in his chair and stares at the two, working his gaze back and forth between Lucy and Tim
Grey: I suspected as much.
I actually already have the forms in my office ready for you to sign, we've seen this coming for a while now
Tim: we've?
Grey sighs loudly
Grey: yes, Lopez, Harper, Thorsen, and I made a bet that by the end of this month you two would be a couple.
Tim and Lucy sit back in their seats and stare at Grey, mouths slightly open
Tim: uhm, you made a bet on us?!
Grey: yes, I'm very sorry, we shouldn't have done that it was very disrespectful of us.
Tim: yeah, it was. Now can we have the forms so we can get out of here?
Grey grabs the forms out of the bottom drawer of his desk and hands them to them
They sign the forms and walk out of the office, making their way to the locker rooms to change as they work through their tough day together.
Lucy gets nauseous a couple of times and threw up quietly so nobody heard her, she is still wondering what is happening with her but shrugs it off as she steps back out of the stalls to go and wash her hands and clean up her mouth she sees Angela and Nyla in her view of the sink they stare her up and down and thinks "shit."
