As Lucy and Tim woke up the next day, beside each other. Lucy had woken by the sound of her alarm blaring in her ear beside her
Tim had woken up by Lucy climbing out of bed, heading into the bathroom
He had followed her in shortly after
As he slowly walked behind her, she was grabbing her makeup bag she felt 2 strong arms wrap around her waist.
Lucy: Morning?
Tim: mm morning beautiful
She turned around and gave him a kiss
Lucy: we need to get ready for work
Tim: Mmm okay..
She turns back around to do her makeup while Tim hauls himself into the kitchen and quickly makes a batch of pancakes.
Lucy finished her makeup and started in her hair, she let her hair flow naturally and went back into the bedroom to get changed.
She decided on a silky pearl white shirt and a pair of jeans.
She walked back into the kitchen to meet Tim, who was sitting at the breakfast bar.
She walked up behind him and hugged him from behind
Her arms were wrapped around his neck
Tim took hold of her hand and kissed the back of it before turning around to face her
He eyed her up and down before giving her a kiss and gesturing her over to the other seat beside him that laid a plate of pancakes on the table.
Lucy: Mm thank you, baby
Tim: anything for you, love.
They ate and Tim changed and they headed out the door to drive to the station.
As they head through the station doors they lock eyes with each other before turning away and going their separate ways.
Tim headed to the break room while Lucy went to the Locker room to change into her uniform.
As they headed back out they met with each other again and Tim handed her a coffee as they were walking to roll call.
Lucy: thank you, love
Tim: your welcome babe, now we have to stop walking with each other or people are gonna start to get suspicious.
Lucy: mmm, okayy..
They parted ways as they walked into the roll call room, Lucy sat next to Nolan, Tim sat next to Aaron
Grey: Today, I need Bradford and Chen, Nolan and Thorsen, and Jaurez, the detectives need you for a case.
Dismissed, be safe out there.
Tim and Lucy headed to grab the warbags, Tim beat her to it
Tim: Nope, my beautiful girlfriend does not load the warbags.
Lucy smiled and rolled her eyes in a playful way
She headed to the shop as Tim loaded the warbags. She was about to open the door until Tim stopped and opened it for her.
She smiled as she sat down in the seat and buckled her seatbelt as Tim came to the other side and started the car.
She turned on all of the cameras and they headed out on the streets.
Lucy: so what's with the special treatment today?
Tim: just showing you that your my princess and you aren't carrying anything
Lucy: Ugh why are you so perfect?!
Tim smiled
Tim: I could ask you the same
Lucy: oh stop Tim, it's already hard enough not to kiss you right now
Tim: I know, I'll stop
The radio buzzed
Dispatch: 7-adam-19 I have a noise complaint at ————
Lucy: 7-adam-19 show us responding
They arrive at their destination and De-escalate the situation.
They head back on patrol and get a few road violations but nothing serious.
As lunch passes through they head to their normal food trucks.
Lucy goes up to the food truck as Tim follows behind her.
As he stepped up to her
Tim: go sit down.
Lucy: why?
Tim: my princess does not grab the food or pay for anything.
Lucy smiled and walked away
Tim grabbed their food as he already knew what Lucy would want.
He walked back toward Lucy and sat down next to her.
Lucy: Tim you're making it obvious
Tim: no I'm not, nobody we know is even here so why would they care?
Lucy: I guess you're right, but I still can't miss you though.
Tim: I know, but I can do this.
He puts his hand on her thigh and she rests her head on his shoulder while putting her hand over his.
Lucy: mm this is nice
Tim: I agree
He kisses the top of her head
Tim: now eat.
They eat their food and go back on patrol.
They finish their shift and Tim goes into his office to do paperwork while Lucy heads to the locker room to get changed into plain clothes
After she's done she heads to Tim's office
She knocks at the side of the door that was already open
Tim: hey princess
Lucy: when will you be done? I wanna get home.
Tim: I'm almost done. Close the door and you can come over here and sit on my lap while I finish these papers
Lucy quickly, silently shuts the door and locks it and goes over to Tim and sits on his lap, laying her head back on his shoulder.
He finishes his paperwork and they head home.
