Part 11

Lucy wakes up first and goes out into the kitchen and pours herself a cup of coffee before sitting herself at the island
Tim wakes up to an empty bed, he slips out of the bed to go into the kitchen where he is greeted by his girlfriend at the table in her pajamas and balloons behind her
Tim: good morning beautiful
What's this?
Lucy: see it for yourself
He walks over to the set up and his jaw drops
Tim: your- your pregnant?
Lucy nods
He runs over to her and picks her up and spins her around
He has tears in his eyes as he sits her down
Lucy: are you happy?
Tim: am I happy? Love of course I'm happy. We're having a baby. And you being the mother of my child just makes me ten times happier, I wouldn't want it to be anyone else
Lucy gets tears in her eyes as they give each other a short passionate kiss
Lucy: I love you
Tim: I love you too. That's why I'm doing...this

He gets down on one knee and grabs the ring out of his pocket
Lucy: what- what are you doing?
Tim: Lucy, you are the sunshine of my life, at first I hated you, but now you're the most important person in my life. And I will love and protect you, and little boot, for my whole life. You turned me around, changed me for the better, and that's why I'm doing this. Lucy Chen, will you marry me?
Lucy starts crying
Lucy: YES Tim 1000 times YES!!
He puts the ring on her finger and spins her around
He pulls her in for a kiss before looking deep into her eyes
Tim: I can't wait to marry you.
Lucy: me too. I love you my fiancé
Tim: I love you too Mrs. Bradford
Lucy: Nuh uh, not yet...
Tim groans
Tim: can we start making arrangements yet?
Lucy: Tim we haven't even told anyone yet, plus you proposed to me like 5 minutes ago. What's your rush?
Tim: I just want to marry the love of my life
Lucy: that's sweet and I do too but we have plenty of time I think we should tell the others about the baby and the engagement first. But I need to tell Tamara about the engagement before we tell everyone else
Tim: wait... she knows about the baby?
Lucy: uhh yeah... Shes kinda the one who made me take the pregnancy test
Tim: oh. Really? When?
Lucy: when we met up with her yesterday. While we went to the bathroom, I took it. And when I said I was going out with Angela to get the stuff... I was with Tamara, we went to get the stuff for the set up
She points over to the balloons
Tim: ohhh you went through all that to surprise me?
Lucy: I mean, yeah, I wanted it to be special
Tim: well, it was, and I can't believe your carrying my baby. I love you princess
Lucy: I love you too, but I think I should call Tamara now, so we can surprise her

After a few rings she answers
Tamara: hey! I see you told Tim about the baby
Lucy: yeah.. I did. But we have something else to tell you
Tamara: what are you having twins or something?
Lucy: no.... But....
She shows her hand
Tamara: OMG YOU'RE ENGAGED???
Lucy nods

Tamara: you've got a good one, Tim. If you hurt her I will hunt you down and strangle you
Tim: trust me, if I hurt her I will strangle myself for you. I would never intentionally hurt her. Shes the love of my life, and my forever
Lucy: aww babe. You're my forever too. I love you
Tim: I love you

Lucy: okay, Tamara, we have to go meet up with the others to tell them about the baby and  our engagement
Tamara: okay, I'll see you soon! And congratulations!!
Lucy: thanks Tam
She hangs up

Lucy: okay, babe we gotta schedule a meet up with the group
Tim: why don't we meet them in the roll call room?
Lucy: Tim! That's a great idea!
Tim laughs
She texts the group chat: " hey, guys, can you meet me and Tim in the roll call room? Say...45 minutes?
Everyone responds yes
Lucy: okay Tim we have 45 minutes to get ready and get to the station
Tim: okay. Let's go
They get into the bedroom and get dressed
Lucy goes into the bathroom and does her hair and makeup
Tim comes out and goes into the kitchen
Lucy comes out and grabs the onesie. She tosses it to Tim and they get into the truck
