The void.
Ah, how do i describe such a realm?
Splintered across hundreds of factions, possibly more, with subfactions....
No wonder they always have a civil war.
Alas, we speak of a rare time where one of the two AVG's take a break.
A break....in th...
(GOV: mere mortals vs literally something that can remove the planet with a sword.
Also Q&A chapter or whatever will happen eventually so ask characters what you want when they appear, this includes the characters without names.
Dont worry it'll happen in like, 5 or so chapters, knowing me that'll probably take so long it'll be december 28th or maybe even 2025)
(A/N: so this means the undead goblin knight can have questions)
(GOV: yes.)
Emily decided to control a hawk to view the inside of the city. Apparently, adventurers are a thing....despite the fact it'd just be easier and more cost efficient to just make a dedicated military branch to do this monster extermination stuff and all that.
Emily is already feeling disappointed, however, she soon realizes something.
"...14 goblins, 13 dead. I miscounted." Yes, something so trivial was forgotten "well darn, that sucks, oh well....i wonder, can undead use bolt actions?" Emily now had a very dangerous idea, lets hope- ...the undead goblins looked like world war 2 british soldiers with lee enfields.
Oh right, the city. It needs to be....liberated from the clutches of those idiot's who think adventurers should be allowed almost full autonomy despite the fact they aren't apart of the government. ...she could be wrong but hey, who cares, shes just here to kill.
Oh right, since shes changing era she should change what she looks like.

Something about this body seemed familiar, but oh well.
So anyways, she sent the 13 undead goblins to attack the city. Turned out, the city didn't like this. Like, really didn't like this.
"I know that fantasy worlds have a lot of magic, but come on, that's just overkill." Yes, 73 house sized fireballs alongside 12 atomic bomb sized explosions is overkill. Unsurprisingly, the city also had a magic shield, the poor undead goblins never had a chance.
"...what do i do now? A villain cant reveal themselves at the start of the series, otherwise i can't troll the 'heroes' or infiltrate the party." Think, Emily, think, which ability can you use which is capable of creating physical body's that allow you to shove a soul into them? "Oh, right." Wait did she-
3 churchill's alongside a crocodile and eight firefly shermans were summon-
...isn't this literally just the british? "Yeah"
Anyway, 87 british riflemen alongside 7 Bren(GOV: lmao, 30 bullets for a machinegun, thats 3 lee enfields) guns also appeared as infantry support, because these are world war 2 tanks, they are...uhhh, faster than infantry but slower than enemy anti tank.
Emily forgot, okay? She's not a good strategist. "I heard that."
Emily basically points at the enem- wait enemy? This is a city-
"Kill the wizards." Well considering the riflemen and tanks were able to fire past 500 meters this would actually be quite an easy task...wait, how do they not see the small armored company? "They are too blind, also camouflage."
Wasn't there a magic barrier. Oh, Emily removed it to make this more interesting.
"Fire." The cannons killed most wizards with HE, i mean...yeah a smaller magic barrier might work but when a secondary force explodes from the shell you kinda have fo compensate for that as well, so if you only focus on stopping the shell, you die. Also, with enough riflemen, you get a long range machinegun, so the other wizards would die with enough time.
"...this is going too well, even if its just the exterior defense, some kind of magic bullshit is gonna happen i bet." Emily was right, as Murphy's Law once said, anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
...in short 7 diamond golems standing 20 feet tall were running toward the fanks.
"Are they idiots? Even if diamond is the 'toughest' it can still be destroyed." The solution was simple; get the riflemen that had randomly chosen to be spawned with PIAT's ready incase the golems get too close while tanks focus down the golems limbs...these golems dont seem to have a magic core so its most likely drained from a wizard or something.
And so concludes the first battle of the siege, because Emily decided to make a base inside the forest to make it seem like shes actually commanding an actual force....also because she forgot to make ammo trucks spawn and the battle kinda drained a lot of bullets because of magic barrier bullshit, she still had a ton of AP shells as well, just no HE shells. Also she named the officer in charge bobby. Hes a captain...or was it captain major? She didn't know british ranks so she's gonna stick with captain.
HE shells are surprisingly effective against magic shields, i wonder if this is foreshadowing?
(GOV: yes, i am still alive.)
(A/N: i actually expected you to just, y'know, leave for another year. Like last time.)
(GOV: didn't sleep tonight. Got bored. Made chapter.)
(A/N: should probably post the chapter before its filled with us speaking again)
