(GOV: what if i added canadians with the British?

Result; W a r  c r i m e s)

(A/N: they are absolutely terrifying in war time.)

Emily had decided to, well, expand her base, to include an entire airbase.

Mosquitos are very effective, so effective in fact that it could be a fighter-bomber, bomber, night fighter, and a precision deep strike bomber.
The RAF knows how to pick planes when politics aren't involved.

38 mosquitos sound good enough, 10 bombers, 18 fighters, and 10 RADAR equipped night fighters.

They didn't use machineguns, they used 20mm auto cannons, also neat fact; the bomber variants didn't actually use guns, they were created with the mindset of 'just outrun the enemy planes'.

"This is slightly overkill....although maybe not." Yes, Emily, definitely not overkill, the city you attacked had 12 atomic bomb sized explosions be casted by wizards.

Regarding artillery....she just went with 20 modified M3 Priests, that's what they are called right? Anyway, they had of course, the M2 Browning, and a 115mm howitzer.
She would go with 125mm but shes pretty sure that'd just abuse the hull to the point she'd need new M3's every couple days, they weren't really made for big caliber cannons.

...shes starting to notice that she has gone with a slow tank force of churchill's, very fast planes, and big arty.

To deal with the infantry issue of not keeping up with the fireflys, just....send them with churchill's, meanwhile the 12 american made halftracks of doom with quad M2 Browning's could go with the fireflys to shred any hostile infantry, oh right, they also need support infantry so the AA could do its job, so she added 47 canadian riflemen and 28 american riflemen.

Why were there less americans? Because of the M1 grand being semi automatic and because the canadians were very good at trench warfare, do you know what this means? Canadians also know how to fight in melee, with bayonets, attached or not, and are also trained with what the WW2 brits consider to be ungentlemanly, such as, first throwing food to the enemy trench before throwing grenades.

(A/N: ...why do you know this)

(GOV: shhhhh)

Oh right, artillery needs to be protected, so does the base.

She's gonna have 5 M26's and 13 M4 Shermans guard the arty while 8 churchill and a t o r t o i s e alongside 118 british riflemen plus 32 Bren guns and 8 mortar teams guard the base.

...there hasn't been much action but war isn't exactly about action a lot of the time, as a wiseman once said, tactics win battles, logistics win wars.
Or she could be wrong.

Anyway, she's done basically all she needs, although its a small force of maybe 3 to 5 companys it should be enough.

"Typically people target the gate or walls, however, what they do not consider, is that tower's have these things called 'rooms', they aren't giant fortified walls or gates....i mean, yeah, larger holes are gonna be made if i target the other two, but the towers also have archers, maybe misketmen? What if they already have machineguns and just used magic to hide this? Targetting the- wait why am i ranting to myself? Its not like someones watching."

And so, she ordered the 115mm cannons to fire.

...surprisingly it was very easy to bring down the towers, is it because she was firing 20 115mm AP shells at a single tower at a time or because she was firing metal at stone?
Also dont enchantments exist? Where are those, unless they were expensive? What if this is the capital city? Should she occupy it? So many questions and so few answers.

She should think less and enjoy the sight of burning walls and houses more.

(A/N: what.)

(GOV: am i not supposed to have semi regular updates?)

(A/N: you kinda just, y'know, popped out of nowhere after a year and started updating the story.

This was not expected)

(GOV: expect the expected.
Anyways

Emily is overanalyzing a lot of stuff and overestimating the enemy, so shes gonna look at walls easily falling in a world with magic and other bullshit then think 'its gotta be a trap'

I feel like people are eventually gonna forget shes not human when she starts creating an entire nation after she introduces herself
Especially reincarnated people, and yes, those people will exist, its a fantasy world.

It'd be really funny for a modern civilian from america to see WW2 allied force's fighting fantasy armies.)
