Chapter 26

Jungkook woke up from his sleep when he felt sunlight shining to his eyes. His face scrunched up as he really doesn't like to get waken up in this way.

He pouted and slowly opened his eyes. He looked left then right, finding the bed completely empty. He touched the surface of the soft bed, frowning when he realised it's cold.

He quickly sits up from the bed. "Where's hyungie..." he asked himself. His pout went harder.

"Did they get mad because I keep on wanting a tiger?" Jungkook brought his knees closer to his chest, hugging them tightly. He stared at his foot toes, curling and uncurling them. It's a way for him to entertain himself.

After a few moments, he got down from the bed, sighing heavily. "Maybe I'll apologise to them later..." he muttered to himself.

He went to the bathroom to do his morning routine. He changed into a proper outfit for school after finishing washing his face and brushing his teeth.

He tied a cute choker around his neck, finishing his last look before opening the bedroom door effortlessly. He took a big step forward, just to get tripped over by an object on the floor.

"Watch out, your highness!"

Jungkook almost fell on the floor but the guard beside him caught him before that. He gave the guard a small smile and looked down to see what's bothering him.

A loud squeal escaped from his lips when he saw there's a tiger cub, sleeping soundly inside a basket with soft pillows around it.

"Tiggy!" He exclaimed, pointing at it. He then looked up, staring at the guard for answer.

"His majesty put it here in the early morning to surprise you, little Prince." The guard said.

Jungkook couldn't describe how happy he's feeling now. He jumped up and down, did a little victory dance before picking up the sleeping cub in the basket.

"Hyungie are the best!!" He squealed out, running downstairs to search for his hyungie. The little cub in his hands got waken up by the movement of the boy. Suddenly he bumped into a hard surface and a familiar arm was wrapped around his waist.

He quickly looked up and a smile immediately appeared on his face. "Taetae hyungie!" He claimed loudly.

"Bambi, how many times I told you no running in the house?" Taehyung asked as he pinched Jungkook's nose, making the boy scrunched his face, "I see, you found out the little gift that we prepared for you?"

Jungkook nodded his head eagerly, "I thought you and V hyungie won't buy for me..." he muttered.

"Well, we're a heartless monster if we say no to your puppy eyes."

Jungkook quickly turned around when he heard V's voice behind him. He got out from Taehyung's embrace before facing the older man. He used one of his hand to carry the cub, another hand used to hold both the twins' hands.

He found it hard to hold both of their hands in his small one, but he still manage to do it. "Thank you so much, hyungie!" He said happily.

"You're welcome." They both said. Although they did spend a lot of this to search for a tiger cub yesterday, after seeing the happy smile on Jungkook's face, they're equally happy too.

"Petal, you might have to put the tiger down first. He looks a bit lost there." V said, pointing at the little creature.

Jungkook looked down, finding the tiger really looking a bit lost as it constantly turning its head from left to right, trying to figure out where it is.

"Oops!" Jungkook quickly put the tiger down as it crawled away without a single hesitation.

"Looks like it doesn't like me..." Jungkook muttered with a small pout on his lips. He started to play with his fingers. A small yelp escaped from his lips when he got suddenly lifted up by one of his hyungie.

"Stop sulking, petal. You just met it! It will like you after a while." V said and Taehyung nodded his head.

Jungkook's pout turned into a smile. He nodded his head too, "Let's have breakfast!" He said, rubbing his stomach with his hand, "I'm hungry."

"By the way, hyungie..." Jungkook mumbled, wiping his mouth with the napkin.

The twins put their forks and spoon down, giving full attention to the boy. "Yes?"

Jungkook suddenly got flustered under the intense stare of the twins. He got down from his chair and went to the twins, standing in the middle of their seats.

He climbed up and settled himself on Taehyung's lap. The reason why he choose Taehyung out of the twins? The answer is pretty simple. The younger twin easily gets jealous if he sat on V's lap. Though he didn't show it out, Jungkook knew it very well.

"Is there anything you want to say, petal?" V asked, placing his hand on Jungkook's lap.

"You looked tensed. Are you getting bullied in school?!" Taehyung suddenly went to panic mode, "I knew we should assign guards for you-" "No hyungie!"

Jungkook let out a small giggle. His fingers tangled up with each other as he stared at the twins shyly. "I-I'm sorry for acting like a bratty kid yesterday... I shouldn't kept on asking you guys to buy a tiger for me when you both think about my safety..." he stammered, cheeks getting red.

"Aww..." the twins cooed out, making Jungkook's face turned redder.

"It's okay, petal. You can act as bratty as you want. We enjoy it very much." V asked as he pat Jungkook's fluffy hair.

"Hyung is right." Taehyung muttered, "For me, and for your V hyungie too and every single person in this house, you're always the little gem in their eyes. You have the rights to get pampered and spoiled."

"So you can continue, be a bratty Prince in our house. We all love it."

Jungkook was getting more and more flustered by the twins' words that he hides his face in the crook of Taehyung's neck.

"T-Thank chu..." he muttered against the surface of skin, voice getting muffled.

The twins were right. The boy is looking too cute to not get pampered.
