Chapter 28

No, Jungkook did not save him.

All Yugyeom felt right now is hard glare on his back. He could even felt his back burning. He turned his head to the right and he could see Jungkook drawing on his book casually, swaying his legs back and forth.

"What's wrong, Gyeomie?" Jungkook asked, eyes still fixed on his drawings.

"Kookie, I felt your hyungie are glaring at me..." Yugyeom whispered, leaning closer to his friend. He made a wrong move though because as soon as his mouth reached just 15 centimetres away from Jungkook's ears, he instantly felt shiver running down his spine.

"Really?" Jungkook asked. He quickly turned around to check his hyungie, turns out they're smiling widely, eyes holding nothing but fondness.

The boy let out a loud sigh. "Gyeomie, you're overreacting! Look at Taetae hyungie and V hyungie! They looked so nice!" He nudged his friend with his elbow, "See, Taetae hyungie even waved his hand at you. Quickly wave it back!"

Yugyeom took a glance at the twins to check whether  Jungkook's words are true or not. Well, the boy just noticed their smile looked so fake. He got no choice but to wave his hand too, forcing a smile out.

He quickly turned back around, not wanting to face the dangerous male. He flinched when he felt a hand on his shoulder, which's belongs to Jungkook.

Jungkook gave his shoulder a few pats. "Don't worry, Gyeomie. I talked to them yesterday. They'll be really nice to you!" He said.

Yugyeom just nodded his head. Suddenly, he yelped loudly when he felt arms around him. It was Jungkook, hugging him.

"W-Why are you hugging me?!" Yugyeom asked.

Jungkook raised his head up, tilting it aside, "I always hug you. You don't like my hugs now?" He asked, lips turning pouty.

"I-I like it but..." Yugyeom doesn't have to look at the twins to see whether they're glaring at him or not. He should be careful because a bullet might soon come in between his eyebrows.

"But?"

"But..." But can you not hug me in front of your crazy hyungie?! Yugyeom wanted to say that out loud, but he should to swallow those words back. "B-But you're hugging me too tightly."

"Oh!" Jungkook quickly unwrapped his arms around Yugyeom's body, smiling sheepishly, "Sorry! I didn't mean it!" He turned back and again picking up his pencil.

Now Yugyeom just hope time can flies faster.

"So overall his study is good. He got all A+ in every subjects except for mathematics. He almost failed in mathematics." The teacher, Mrs Lim said. She was facing the two bulky men, who's none other than Taehyung and V while Jungkook was sitting on Taehyung's lap, playing with his clothes buttons carelessly.

"It's okay. We don't need him to be good in maths. There's a reason why calculator exists." V replied and Jungkook nodded his head furiously.

"What about his social skills? Does he has any friends?" Taehyung asked, emphasising the word 'friends'. If he knew Jungkook have someone else other than Yugyeom as his friend, he needs to take time to have a 'small' talk with them again.

"As far as I see, many kids wanted to be his friends but he rejected them. The only kid that he accepted is Kim Yugyeom, the one who sat beside him." She replied. "We don't know why he doesn't like to social much."

"Why?" Taehyung asked the boy in his embrace.

Jungkook just leaned closer to Taehyung's ears and whispered, "They don't match my standards."

Taehyung stifled a small laugh at his sassy comment that was given by the boy. V laughed out too as he could clearly listen what Jungkook said even though he spoke softly.

"Good job, Bambi." He whispered back, making the boy giggled loudly.

"Another important question is..." V's eyes darkened, "Is there anyone who courts him?"

Mrs Lim was quite taken back by the question. Maybe they afraid Jungkook will ignore his studies once he started dating. She thought.

"Well, I can say Jungkook is a popular kid because of his pretty face and nice personality so definitely, he received quite a lots of confessions and compliments."

"Is that so?" Taehyung gritted out, hands already formed into fists. V gave his brother a small glare to calm him down before turning his head to give Mrs Lim a forced smile.

"Thank you so much, Mrs Lim for sharing informations about Jungkook with us." V said politely. He stood up and Taehyung immediately followed him, hands still holding Jungkook.

Jungkook didn't mind to get carried around by Taehyung so he just placed his chin on Taehyung's shoulder.

"We will take our leave." Taehyung said. Hearing the male's statement, Jungkook quickly tapped his shoulder, signalling the male to put him down.

Taehyung was confused but he still put the boy back to the floor. "What's wrong?"

"I haven't say goodbye to Gyeomie!" Jungkook said before running back to his seat.

The twins watched Jungkook waving his hands cutely at Yugyeom, the only feeling that they got now was jealousy.

They shoot daggers at the poor boy while Taehyung said, "I wish I could give him some beatings."

"I understand you, Tae. I wish I could too." V placed his hand on his brother's shoulder, "But we should stop having that feeling."

"We're not supposed to develop jealousy and possessive over Jungkook. We're his brothers, not lovers."

Taehyung doesn't know why he felt his heart broke into pieces with the mention of brothers. "Y-You're right." He muttered. Watching how happy Jungkook looks when he interacted with Yugyeom, his heart just sunk into grief.

He started to think about Jungkook's future. They can't keep the boy forever with them. The boy will grow up, find a girl or a boy to date with, get married and have their own child, all of these sounded so normal.

But somehow, Taehyung doesn't wanted the boy to leave, same as V. They just wanted Jungkook to stay forever with them.

Even though it sounded so impossible.
