Chapter 33

"If Kookie is Cinderella, will hyungie be my beast?"

Taehyung stood there frozen, replaying Jungkook's question again and again in his head. He can't seem to find an answer for the boy. He looked down, finding Jungkook staring at him with his wide doe eyes.

His gaze unknowingly traveled to Jungkook's lips and he wanted nothing but to kiss them right now.

Will I be his beast? Taehyung asked himself in his mind. The beast got married with Cinderella in Jungkook's ending, was the boy asking for a marriage? He wanted to say yes to this
marriage-

Taehyung quickly shook his head by thinking this. He knew Jungkook is innocent, he won't think of something like that. The cute look of the boy makes Taehyung feels more guilty.

Taehyung's heart always melted under Jungkook's words and looks, but this time is different but the older male couldn't tell what the difference is.

"Hyungie?" Jungkook called out softly, pulling the male back to reality.

Taehyung set his gaze on the boy before giving him a small smile. "I thought hyungie already is your beast?" He asked.

"B-But I want hyungie as my beast in my ending, hyungie." Jungkook muttered, lips turning pouty, "N-Not in your ending-" He let out a small gasp when Taehyung leaned down and pecked his forehead.

"Stop thinking too much, Jungkook. It's just a story." Taehyung said, still smiling, "Good night." He removed Jungkook's hand from his gently and turned around. He again felt hand around his wrist as this time the boy had sat up and hold him.

"I'm not thinking too much, hyungie." Jungkook muttered, holding Taehyung's large hand with both of his hands, rubbing and kneading it, "I-I want-"

Suddenly a knock on the door interrupted
Jungkook's sentence.

They both heard a voice from the other person so they turned their heads to the source of sound quickly.

It's must be his V hyungie! Jungkook thought. The door opened and revealed V. The male was having a smile on his face as he walked inside.
"Why are you still awake, petal? It's over your bed time." V said, sitting down on the other side of the bed.

Jungkook removed his hands from Taehyung's before putting his head down, fiddling his comforter, "Taetae hyungie told me a story.... It's about Cinderella and beast." He looked up and set his gaze on Taehyung but the male was quick to look away.

V didn't notice the small tension in the room. He just laughed out, "I never heard of Cinderella and the beast. It's that a new Disney movie?" He asked.

Jungkook just shook his head. "Hyungie made up the story," He threw his comforter away and crawled towards V, climbing up his lap and straddled the male. "Will hyungie be my beast?"

"Huh? What are you talking about, petal?" V asked, holding Jungkook's waist as the boy constantly bouncing on his lap.

"Answer me-" "Enough, Bambi. It's your sleeping time now." Taehyung said in a firm tone.

The boy was visibly upset but he didn't protest much before moving away and laid down on his bed. He covered himself with the comforter before muttering, "Good night, hyungie."

"Good night, Bambi," Taehyung said and dragged his brother out of the room, shutting the lights off before they leave.

The younger male didn't say anything as he continued walked with V behind him.

"What was that, Tae? You look a bit tense?" V asked, "And Jungkook clearly looked upset." He heard a sigh coming out from Taehyung's lips.

The younger turned around and faced his brother, "Hyung, I don't know what's wrong with me." He said, with an almost crying expression on his face.

"What happened?"

"Jungkook, I don't think I still see him as my brother. After the peck he gave me today, I just can't stop thinking about kissing him when I saw his lips now. It's wrong, right?" Taehyung asked, eyes went a bit teary.

V stared at his brother before letting out a loud sigh too. "I thought I was the only who have the same feeling..."

"What?" Taehyung scoffed in disbelief,

V just shook his head. "I think it's because we never date nor started a relationship with others, that's why we have that kind of feeling." He muttered, looking down and examined his bare feet.

Taehyung went silent after V's words. He thought deeply, analysing his words. "Should we find a partner then?"

The younger male asked after a huge silence.
V looked up and spare a glance at his brother. "I don't know, Tae." He muttered, exhaling deeply, "I guess there's no more option other than what you said just now."

Taehyung nodded his head in agree. He approached his brother and out his hand over his shoulder, "Then let's tell mom to find someone for us. I'm sure she has many choices for us."

"But it's still hard. I can't find any interest in other beings in this world." V said, turning his head to look at Taehyung.

Taehyung shrugged. "No choice. It's for Jungkook. We're vampires and he's human. We will hurt him if one day." They both were in deep thoughts. Hurting Jungkook is the least thing they wanted.

They couldn't bear to see the boy shed a tear. So they decided, to find a life partner for themselves.

While on the other hand, Jungkook hide himself in his comforter, eyes holding tears. He gripped the edges of the comforter tightly with his hand before sniffling

"I-It's that a rejection?" He asked himself, "T-They don't want me..."

After laying on the same position for a while, he flipped his body, tummy face down on the bed as he curled himself into a ball. "I want them..." he muttered before wiping his tears harshly with the back of his hands.

"Kim Jungkook will not give up!" He said to himself, hands clutched into a fist.
