Chapter-4

"Shine and Shimmer"

┌─── ∘°❉°∘ ───┐

After 1 year

The morning sunlight spilled over the skyline of a bustling, glittering city, painting the glass skyscrapers in hues of gold and rose.

Below, the streets buzzed with early morning life, the faint hum of luxury cars and distant chatter floating up to a penthouse perched high above the noise. It was a world where wealth was power, and at the very top of it all lived Alara.

In her lavish bedroom, the soft, early light filtered through the sheer lavender curtains, casting a warm glow over the satin sheets of her enormous bed.

Everything sparkled, from the crystal chandeliers overhead to the metallic gold accents of the decor. But even the shine of her luxurious surroundings couldn't outshine the woman herself, who lay peacefully in a cocoon of elegance.

As the sun kissed her sleeping face, her AI assistant, Ava, spoke up in her soothing, melodic voice, breaking the silence.

"Good morning, Lulu," Ava cooed, using the exclusive nickname only she was allowed to call Alara.

It was a name filled with affection and familiarity an intimate touch of comfort in the midst of Alara's pristine, polished life. "It's time to wake up. The day awaits you."

Alara stirred under the silk duvet, a soft sigh escaping her lips as she stretched languidly, her fingers brushing against the satin sheets.

Slowly, she opened her eyes, greeted by the soft lavender hues that adorned her room, reflecting her favorite colors lavender and purple, the colors of royalty and serenity.

"Morning already?" she murmured, her voice husky from sleep, yet still as delicate as ever.

She rose from the bed, the fabric falling away to reveal her slender frame wrapped in a vintage satin robe a stunning 90s-inspired piece in soft lavender, trimmed with fluffy fur and feathers along the edges.

The robe flowed as she moved, giving her the appearance of an ethereal, untouchable goddess gliding across her marble floor.

"Morning, Ava," Alara purred, her voice soft with affection. "What would I ever do without you?"

"You'll never have to find out, Lulu," Ava replied warmly, her tone filled with the kind of fondness that almost felt human. "Shall I begin your morning routine?"
