"Then it was just you and me"

As the car rolled down the winding path, the breathtaking view of a villa perched near the edge of the ocean came into sight.
The golden hues of the evening sun kissed the waves, casting shimmering reflections across the endless stretch of water. Alara's eyes widened as she leaned forward, peering through the windshield in awe.
When Mingyu brought the car to a stop, Alara stepped out, the warm ocean breeze immediately wrapping around her.
She turned in a slow circle, taking in the serene beauty of the secluded island. The villa was modern yet blended seamlessly with the natural surroundings, the ocean's rhythm setting a soothing backdrop.
"It's beautiful," she whispered, her voice tinged with wonder. She glanced at Mingyu, who had joined her side, his hands casually in his pockets. "How... how is there no one here?"
Mingyu smirked, a hint of mischief dancing in his eyes. "That's because I bought the island." His tone was nonchalant, as if purchasing an island was as simple as picking out dinner. "It's ours just you and me."
Alara froze, blinking at him in disbelief. "You what?" she asked, her voice breathless.
"I bought it for you," Mingyu clarified, stepping closer. He reached out, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, his gaze softening. "I wanted you to have a place that's just yours. Somewhere no one can disturb us."
The weight of his words sent her heart racing. "You're insane," she murmured, a small smile tugging at her lips as she turned to face the ocean. "But I guess... it's the most romantic thing anyone's ever done for me."
Mingyu smirked, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her close. "You guess?" he teased, his voice a low rumble against her ear. "I don't do 'guess.' You're mine, Alara. That's all there is to it."
She glanced up at him, her chest tightening at the possessive intensity in his dark eyes. "Mingyu..." Her voice faltered as she felt his fingers trail along her arm, leaving a heated path in their wake.
"I meant it," he said softly, brushing his lips against her temple. "Every inch of this place is for you-because you're my everything."
The air between them shifted as Alara turned to face him fully, her hands tentatively resting on his chest.
His button-down shirt clung to his frame, slightly open from the ocean breeze, and her fingers skimmed over the warm skin of his collarbone.
"You're making it really hard for me to stay mad at you," she muttered, her lips twitching into a reluctant smile.
