"Where Waves Meet Secrets"

The car hummed steadily as Mingyu drove, his hand loosely resting on the steering wheel. The moonlight poured through the windows, illuminating Alara's contemplative expression as she stared out into the endless dark stretch of the highway.

The silence between them was heavy, though not uncomfortable it was filled with a quiet anticipation.

Unable to hold back her curiosity, Alara broke the stillness. "What do you even do for a living?" Her voice was steady, though her eyes stayed trained on the scenery outside.

Mingyu glanced at her briefly, a small smirk tugging at his lips. "Why? Planning to apply for a job at my company?"

She turned to face him, her eyebrows arching in disbelief. "Very funny. I'm serious."

His smirk deepened as he tapped his fingers rhythmically on the steering wheel. "Let's just say... I handle business. The kind that keeps life interesting."

Her eyes narrowed. "That's vague. Sounds sketchy."

"It's not sketchy," he replied with a teasing lilt. "Just... complex. I wouldn't bore you with the details."

Alara huffed, crossing her arms. "Right. Because clearly, honesty isn't part of your 'business.'"

Mingyu let out a low chuckle. "Feisty as ever, little dove. I promise I'm not some back-alley criminal, if that's what you're worried about."

Her glare softened into something more thoughtful as she looked back at him. "You're definitely not normal. That much I know."

"And you're just figuring that out?" he quipped, throwing her a playful side glance.

Despite herself, Alara felt her lips twitch into the faintest smile. "You're impossible."

The car slowed as they approached a bend in the road. The faint sound of crashing waves began to filter through the open windows, making Alara sit up straighter. She recognized the salty tang in the air before she could even see it.

"Wait... is that-"

"An ocean?" Mingyu finished, pulling into a small parking area by the shore. "Yes, it is. Thought you might like it."

Alara's breath hitched as her eyes found the vast expanse of water. The moon's reflection danced on the surface, and the rhythmic sound of the waves crashing against the sand filled her ears.

She had always been an ocean girl, drawn to its endless depth and mystery.

Mingyu stepped out of the car, casually leaning against the hood as he pulled out a cigarette. He lit it with practiced ease, taking a slow drag before exhaling a plume of smoke into the night air.
