A new friend.

As the sun was rising and its rays were shining through the window, Mizuki found themselves being tightly hugged by their roommate. It was a warm, hearty hug. She could still feel the traces from her tears last night. Her bed sheets smelled nicely for Mizuki - like a combination of a Lilly of the valley and strawberries. Mizuki was wondering if Kanade and Mafuyu have woken up. The pink-haired girl stood up and started preparing herself. Today, the past housekeeper of Kanade's place would visit the small group of girlfriends. Tomorrow, it was also her first day of adult high school. Ena looked so beautiful while sleeping. So calm, so adorable with those pink lips and small blush around her cheeks. Her tawny, slightly pinkish hair, was chaotically lying on the yellow pillow. Her arms wrapped around a plush, after Mizuki stood up. It was Saturday, a surprisingly peaceful one. Mizuki went down and saw the two girls. Mafuyu's mauve hair was very messy and she was wearing a black shirt of The Cure, while Kanade was preparing breakfast - pancakes.
-Good morning, Mizuki. - Mafuyu greeted her. - Kanade is making some pancakes. They're pretty fluffy and they're also Ena's second favourite food, would you like to try them?
Mizuki nodded and smiled cheerfully at Mafuyu.
-Ehh, Mafuyu, could I style your hair~
Mafuyu stared with confusion at Mizuki but it didn't take her long to agree.
-Mafuyu looks happy...I think she's enjoying Mizuki's company. I enjoy it too. Ena too. I hope she stays for a little longer. - Kanade smiled while looking at the two girls.
Mizuki brushed Mafuyu's long and well, quite bushy. She took a bow and began to hairstyle Mafuyu's hair. They would analyse the new, modern outfits of the people of the 21st century. She'd noticed all different styles, all different makeups, all different hairstyles. Mizuki was always very interested in fashion and would often force Ena to buy her fashion magazines. Though she has been in this world only for a few weeks, she already knew so many styles and could recite all different clothing fashions.
In spite of her loving roommates, with whom they already formed a strong relationship, she missed her old world. Mizuki missed Yuuki and her family. She wondered how they're feeling. They were glad that no eyes were centred at her at the battalion and she met with new people. They were still terrified of telling their secret. What if Ena doesn't accept them. What if Kanade's caring eyes start looking at her with disgust. What if Mafuyu starts grinning at her, while making fun of her. But Mizuki decided to let herself enjoy their current time left. After all, Ena told them to take their time, right? She wouldn't let her wait forever, but was glad that Ena understood and gave her all the time needed. Even an eternity.
- And here!! So so, do you like it, Mafuyu? Can I call you Yuki or Mafu~ Mizuki smiled at Mafuyu.
Mafuyu smiled softly back and answered:
-I don't mind either. Mizuki, you're kinda cute.
-EHEHE, THANK YOU, MA~FU!! - Mizuki smiled.
It was already 10:30 am and Ena still hasn't woken up. Mizuki took a bunch of pancakes and tried them. They put chocolate on top of them. The taste melted in their mouth, it was so nice.
- Delicious~ say Kanade, when's the housekeeper coming?
- Ah, at around 1 p-
Suddenly, they heard Ena's scream. She quickly ran down and they could all her stentorian steps, walking on the floor.
- MIZUKI, WHY DID YOU WAKE UP WITHOUT WAKING ME UP. AND I WAS HUGGING YOU.
Mizuki smiled and laughed, while Mafuyu and Kanade cheekily grinned at each other.
- Ohh, Ena, Ena, I didn't know you liked hugging me that much~
- HA, M-M-MIZUKI. DONT COME THIS CLOSE TO MY FACE. - Ena's whole face blushed.
They all ate breakfast, talked about different things and then, Ena helped Mizuki to learn how to use different devices. Mizuki was a very fast learner and memorised it all without even asking Ena to repeat anything.
At exactly 1 pm, they heard a knock on the door. Mafuyu stood up and went to open it. A fairly tall brown haired girl with blue eyes and a kind expression on her face, walked in the flat.
-Hello, Kanade, Ena, Mafuyu, a- Apologies, Miss, but who are you? - the stranger asked.
-Oh, I forgot to make a proper introduction to Mizuki...so, Mizuki, this is Honami. She's a drummer of a band, also. Her band is pretty famous and Mafuyu and I sometimes listen to them to get inspirations for our lyrics and music.
Honami, this is Mizuki. It's an insane story and I think it'll be better if Mizuki told it herself...
Mizuki explained it all to Honami. Honami stared with pure confusion, while playing with her hair.
-That's...well...that sounds like something from a manga really...- Honami giggled. - it's really hard to believe. But I don't think Mafuyu or Kanade would lie about something as serious as that.
- Is it true you can sew? - Mizuki asked.
- Oh, yes!! I sometimes make cute little hats for my doggy, Shibao!! He's beyond adorable.
And this is how another friendship bud for Mizuki. After some talking, Honami suggested they started cleaning. Honami, Mafuyu and Kanade stayed at the flat, while Mizuki and Ena went to bring the clothes from the place where they left them from. (Forgot the word)
-So, Mizuki, our clothes are here and all we have to do is take them, and put those new clothes in the washing machine!! Here's how it works.
And Ena helped her understand. At one point, Ena slipped and Mizuki caught her. Their eyes met and they could both see each other's reflection in them. Mizuki pulled her tighter and Ena' s breath stopped. Suddenly, Ena came back to earth and started screaming.
-WHY DID YOU HOLD ME FOR SO LONG. Thank you though...- she blushed and hid her face. Mizuki, though blushing even more, giggled.
They came back to their flat and found Honami gone. It turned out she had left earlier due to a band practice.
-Oh man~ she looked so nice and cute, I'd love to meet her again. - Mizuki sighed.
