   It's been around 4 months since that faithful day. Mizuki goes to an adult high school, though she skips often to be with the rest of the girls. She missed her old life a lot, but she's happy that she has created this new world. Mizuki often helps Nightcord and became a "honorary" member of the small music circle. Ena has never had such a deep connection with anybody before. The brunette would often find herself staring at their beautiful, plump lips wishing she could kiss them, at her pink, glamorous hair wishing she could brush it, at her soft, pale hands wanting to touch and caress them while hugging the girl. She would often blush  just by thinking about this. Mizuki, well, she shared those feelings of romantic love. But...their secret. They weren't ready to say it yet. She kept delaying and delaying...it's been months and she still hasn't confessed. They thought they were quite alike with Mafuyu and Kanade's composed character always calmed her down. Mizuki loved Kanade and Mafuyu too! But what she had with Ena...it was something unique. Such a deep and connected relationship has been established between them - from the teasing, to that night - everything was so sweet, like a tiramisu. But the tiramisu can rot quickly and can be simply destroyed, if you keep delaying to eat it.
    It was Valentine's Day soon. You could feel the unbearable feeling of love in the air, couples everywhere. Even Kanade and Mafuyu have found their dates. But Ena didn't have a date.
  - Ugh...Mafuyu...-  Ena sighed deeply. - How come YOU have a valentine but I don't.
- Because I'm not a dummy like you. - Mafuyu tapped on Ena's forehead. - You like Mizuki, don't you?
-EHHHHHHHHH??? WHAT ARE YOU SAYING. LIAR. MIZUKI AND I? NEVER IN A MI-
- Save me the screaming.
  Ena blushed so hard that she had to hide her face. How did she know...was it that obvious and Mizuki was just somehow oblivious to it.
-You might be right...what do I do...- Ena confessed embarrassed.
- Well. All I did was ask her. Of course, I gave her some flowers. I complimented her. And she agreed. - Mafuyu answered. - It's as simple as that. I suggest buying Mizuki something cute related, maybe bows.
- Hmm...you're right...- Ena stuttered. - Would you like to go with me?
   Mafuyu nodded and the two girls left the flat. They went to a bouquet store and bought some begonias (Mizu5 reference btw), Mizuki's favourite flower. They put a bow on it.
   Next, Ena quickly drew a sketch of  a fashion studio. Mizuki wished she was a fashion designer and was working hard for that.
-It looks a little empty...
-Hm. You can kiss it. You have your lipstick on, right? - Mafuyu suggested.
  Ena hesitantly kissed the paper and then washed her mouth.
- Ok, I'm ready. What do I tell her? - Ena asked Mafuyu. They were going back to the flat again.
-Hm. Well, just say that you've loved her for a while, that you care for her. Why you want for her to be your date. And give her the gifts.
-Mafuyu, I wonder who your date is.
-Oh. Uh. Uh. - Mafuyu glitched a little.
   Ena giggled and both of them laughed and laughed until they finally reached the apartment. Since the girls didn't have enough money, they couldn't buy Mizuki a phone but they did buy her those children watches from which you could call your parents. In this case, the "parents" are Ena and Kanade.
-Uhmm, hello, Mizuki! - Ena smiled. - I'd like to talk with you. Can you meet me at the nearby abandoned playground? - nearby the university there was an old playground, where a single kid hasn't played since years. Sometimes Mizuki and Ena meet there to talk alone with each other.
-Uhh...sure? - Mizuki got startled...is it about it? It's definitely about it. She had been having a class but she left because they got bored.
   Ena went to the playground and waited for a while. Her legs were shaking. It's so embarrassing making a confession, considering she has never confessed to anybody before. She saw Mizuki coming, and stood up, though her knees felt weak, the brunette sat again and while blushing, looked at the pavement. She was...beautiful.
- What did you want to talk about?
- Ah, Mizuki! I just wanted to say that...Ithinkyoureanawesomepersonpleasebemygirriefn.
-What? - Mizuki giggled. Ena turned even redder.
-I think you're an awesome person...-Ena composed herself. - And you're such a good person too. I love you so much. Would you like to be my valentine? Maybe, go on a date?
   Relief, confusion and guilt filled Mizuki's eyes. Ena shared the same feelings as her! She couldn't be happier! But...unfortunately, every wait has its price. The pink-haired girl's eyes watered. Her fist was shaking, and her eyes looked down in shame. Why is this happening...?  She will make Ena feel awful now. They would never want this. But you reap what you sow. If they didn't make her wait so much, those painful words wouldn't have to go out from her mouth. Mizuki's throat froze. Her guts turned into a knot and the earth suddenly stopped spinning. The atmosphere was so deep you could cut it with a knife. The cold wind hit them both with its whip.
-Ena...
-Mizuki...
  Mizuki looked up. They looked at each other in silence. The sun was shining. The wind was quietly blowing and the leaves were falling on the ground, though it was winter already. The atmosphere was beyond painful. There millions of words between them, but both of them were afraid to break this silence. Ena started sobbing. The words felt hard to pronounce. Mizuki came closer to Ena.
-Ena...I love you. I truly do. More than everything on this planet. But we can't be together.
-Huh...? But...I will love you...no matter what...Why...
-You don't remember? My secret? I still haven't told you.
-But...I don't care about it...I will love you, always.
-I'm sorry.
    Ena's knees felt even weaker. She fell on the ground and started sobbing violently. Tears came out of her eyes. She threw the gifts in Mizuki's hands and ran away. She kept running and running and running, until her breath was completely out.
