   -I think Mizuki fell asleep. She's quite cute when she's sleeping. - Ena announced to the rest of the group. - I think we can start making our new song now.
    The group, called Nightcord at 25:00, was formed a few years ago, in their first year of high school when all of the girls were in a very low place mentally. They all helped each other with their songs, drawings, and lyrics. With their shared feeling of emptiness, sorrow and rage, a sekai was created with the Virtual singers being born from their deepest and darkest feelings. They still make music as a way to support each other.
   It all started on one faithful day. Enanan, as what her online nickname was, discovered K's song. It was a dark song, full of negative feelings. And yet, those negative feelings is what made her feel warm and understood. She felt her heart reached, as if she shouldn't disappear yet. The artist felt brightened up. She immediately took her pencil and her artistic mind began to wonder in the world of K and Yuki's songs. It was as if the girls themselves were inviting her to join their Kafkaesque world. Enanan drew a girl, screaming and crying for help in the middle of the forest. She tried editing it in the form of a video and posted it online. The next day, Kanade recruited her and asked her to join her small music circle, where she can draw and edit their videos. Ena agreed and since then, the three girls always made songs together, through hard times. Even when Mafuyu's mother tried to stop them from doing so, even when Kanade's dad's health worsened, even when Ena felt as if her art is disgusting, they always knew where to go - on Nightcord, at 25:00, where they always awaited for each other. Sometimes, they'd go to the sekai together where the other virtual singers would help them chase their light. Sometimes, Kanade's old housekeeper, Honami, who still often visits the three girls and helps them clean the apartment and hangs out with them, would use to help them with lyrics and song compositions. But they have always sticked together, at 25:00.
   The three girls were working hard. Mafuyu was writing their lyrics for the song which demo Kanade already showed them. Ena was drawing her sketch and thinking exactly what feeling she'd like to convey with it. Kanade was composing and was working hard. They still remember the days they were miserable, the days Kanade wouldn't eat or sleep just to create more songs, the days where Ena drew even when her arm began to sore, when Mafuyu's mom repressed her feelings. Those times were long ago, though no forgotten. The girls were finally happy with one another.
    -Okay, Mafuyu, Ena, it's already 3 am. - Kanade said with a smile on her face, brightening up the faces of both girls. - What have you don't by far? I think we should take a break for today. We have a new guest at our house after all.
-I've written some of the lyrics and the title of the song. - Mafuyu whispered. - The title is "Long-awaited spring after winter". But I'm thinking of changing it. I don't like quite it sounds, though it fits the song.
-Err...I asked Yu- I mean Mafuyu, about her lyrics. And I drew the sketch of a girl, looking at a blooming Sakura tree.
-You both have done great! - Kanade said. - I just have one question for you, Ena. How long will Mizuki stay here?
  Ena blushed and her whole face turned red.
-I-I mean...I hoped she could stay here for a few weeks or months...
-Ena, do you like Mizuki? - Mafuyu asked.
-EH?! OBVIOUSLY, NO, I mean...we just met...-blushed even harder Ena. - Though, I do hope she stays here. Anyways, goodnight!!
Ena quickly ran to her bed and fell asleep, thinking about the cute girl sleeping on the couch.
  -She definitely likes her.
-She does.
