Kakashi's kuchiyose dogs found the target and he was right behind the dogs.
He prepared his chidori ready to strike.
That's when Mai body flickers to in front of the target " stop."
Kakashi: move away !! He going to run !!
Mai ; stop.
The target that was bitten by pakkun and his pack struggles and got away. He starts to run.
Kakashi: look what you have done !!
Mai ; it's not required to kill everyone !!
Kakashi: we have to protect the ones closes to us !! You know that !!
Mai ignores him and walked into the direction of the target where he escaped.
" Where are you going?!!" He shouted. But followed anyway.
In a few hundred metres, laid the guy wrapped in seals and unable to move.
Kakashi looked up the two big trees and understood. This was a trap. A step triggered the seal and like a net they wrapped him in it.
The target wiggles and tried to speak in mute.
Mai ; shut up. Pakkun ~ could you help me tell taichou to come over ?
Kakashi: don't order other people's dog.
Mai takes out a treat " I have this."
Pakkun takes it " I'll go !"
Kakashi sighs " that greedy dog." Then he looks to Mai " you knew he would run in that direction."
Mai : must pass by route.
Kakashi: but how did you know it would be between those 2 trees.
Mai ; I didn't only put seals on 2 trees. At least 10 to create some kind of range he would step in.
Kakashi: I see.
Mai ; I don't like killing Kakashi. It's a loss to somebody. If they want mine and I have no choice to take theirs, then I have no choice. But if I could... I don't want to...
Kakashi: that's too kind for an anbu.
Mai ; protection at least, it shouldn't be about killing. Don't you think ? We aren't hunters
Kakashi: our job, is to hunt them down and kill the threat.
Mai: then... Why do you kill them so extremely ?
Kakashi: we have to ensure they're dead.
Mai : dead is dead. No breath. Never coming back. There's no need to go so far.
