Mai was making miso soup while Kakashi was making fried pork cutlet.
Dinner was quickly ready and the both of them ate. They both ate silently and quickly like how they always had dinner.
Then they looked to each other.
Mai: you wash ?
Kakashi : ... You wash.
Mai ; mmm... Ok.
Kakashi: going back later ?
Mai ; maybe. Can I stay a bit longer ? A bit bored.
Kakashi: .... Do you want to... Again ?
She stands up from the chair and goes to his room " you wash up. I'll wait for you. "
" Washing can be done tomorrow." He goes to his room and closes the door behind him.

Mai : what the hell are you talking about?

Mai ; dinner is ready. Scoop yourself.
Kakashi: arigatou.
She was watching the television on her couch. That's when he blocks her view " I've got something to tell you."
Mai ; what is it ?
He switches off the tv " ... We've been doing that for a while now. I don't us to be just friends who do that."
Mai ; it's ok. I won't tell your future girlfriend. It's not like she can tell if you're a virgin.
Kakashi: that's not what matters here.
Mai ; then ?
He goes to sit by her side " I want us to be a couple. "
Mai : I don't understand. Only couples can do that ? I didn't know you were so ... Traditional.
Kakashi: Mai Yukisaki. Stop with the sarcasm and deflecting.
She looks away.
Kakashi; you know what I'm trying to say. I love you. I know you have feelings for me too.
Mai: I reject.
Kakashi: why ?
Mai; I reject whatever feelings I have !!! Can't we just be happy doing it ?!!
Kakashi; so you do love me back. What's wrong with being my....
She covers his mouth " no !! Girlfriend means marriage. I won't be anybody's wife !! I won't be tied at home !!" She walks away from the sofa and goes to her room closing it .
