I sit with my back against the main mast unwillingly, Chopper threatened me that if I even moved an inch he'd tied me up with whatever stuff Franky has. I grumbled watching my crewmates get ready for Franky's secret weapon, if all does to plan, like Dad explained to me then I happy i'm sitting near the mast. SO I could hold on to dear life. "Franky! You big oaf, get that air cannon going!" I shouted as I watched with concern at the warship, inching closer and closer to us. "Franky! Do it now!" Luffy ordered at him with a stern expression. Silence filled the air as I see Usopp and Chopper drop what they were hold and stare in horror at the warship. Following their line of sight I followed suit with their reaction.

I saw Garp hurling a giant cannonball, half the size of the ship. While I wanted to figure out who and how someone made that. "YOU HALF SHIT ROBOT! GET IT GOING!" I screeched to him holding onto the main mast as tight as I could. "COUPE DE" The ship began to shake little by little.

Whhhheeeeeee

I tried to relax feeling the tension rise in my right arm, but the cannonball was getting closer and closer. "See you in the papers dad" I uttered as the shaking got stronger and stronger, a gust of air shot out the back of the boat. "BURST!" The ship launched into the air violently, the wind blowing harshly against my face. I felt my skin rub against the wood, I use my legs to keep myself against the mast as best as I could. The ship soared, soon a large distance was created between us and water seven, the city was nearly a dot now. I closed my eyes as we got closer to the water.

The impact of the ship rattled everyone, I lost grip of the mast and tumbled to the deck. "If anything breaks I'll fix it! I have my trusty apprentice with me too" Franky poses with his arms froming his iconic star shape on his forearms. He stands back up looking towards me as I lay flat on the deck. "I was younger then, I'm no apprentice" I puff out my cheeks annoyed. "You guys can ask me and this brat anything. She memorized the plans and the weapons aboard despite me telling her not too" Franky explains to the crew, I nod as well. I gazed up at the sky watching the clouds, the soft rocking of the ship reminded me that I wasn't on land anymore. And thankfully I took my motion sickness meds earlier.

-Third person POV-

As they all watched the pirate ship escape with a tremendous use of an air cannon, at the edge of scrap island stood a man with a heavy heart. His longtime friend who learned alongside him under Tom, had left. But not only Franky, but his daughter that he grew to love with everything in his heart. He knew it was for the best. The she would learn about the greatest wonders of the wonder, and unfortunately the dark side of this world as well.

-Four years ago-

"Ice for brains, are you sure you can handle her? She doesn't even have a devil fruit but can create fire"

Franky stared at Ice-berg unsure as he sat in a private secluded building. Ice-berg sat across from the funky light blue-haired man and sighed deeply. "If only you saw the look on her face, the relief she felt when she knew she was safe. Then you'd know that you'd try everything to keep her safe" The mayor of Water Seven explained with his eyes trained to the floor. It had only been two years since Cole washed ashore. Ice-berg didn't know what to do, the government has been hounding him since he tried to get official documents made for Cole. Her identity has been a struggle to keep, he still didn't understand what the government wanted with her. But he was adamant to convince them that she was dead and didn't exist. That he only wanted documents to have an official death certificate and a proper 'ceremony'. "I'll protect her even if it sends me to an early grave, I'll keep her safe" There was a long silence between the two men before one spoke. "What will you do, when the day comes that she wants to leave here?" It was a grim thought for Ice-berg to even think that when Franky asked. It strangely left an empty feeling in his heart. With a discouraged smile, he looks at Franky. Ice-berg had already started to like the child as his own.
