HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREEEEEEEN!!!!!
A/N: Tokoyami's point of view until said otherwise!
Ah, the thrilling monotony of UA. Another day, another series of lectures where I, Fumikage Tokoyami, must sit in a room filled with chaos agents disguised as future heroes. It's a struggle to endure this circus without Dark Shadow heckling someone—or, worse, me.
Today is already shaping up to be... special. Kaminari's managed to electrocute himself before the first bell rang, Sero is using his tape to booby-trap chairs (ingenious, honestly), and Mineta... well, let's not even go there. I'm doing what I do best: sitting coolly with an air of mysterious indifference.
Or at least, that's the vibe I'm going for.
"Hey, Tokoyami," Mina leans over, resting her chin on her hand. "Why are you always brooding like a Shakespeare character? It's too early for existential crises, dude."
"I prefer to start my day contemplating the void, Ashido," I reply smoothly, flicking an imaginary speck of dust off my desk. "You should try it sometime—it pairs well with coffee."
Before she can respond, the classroom door flies open.
"BROTHER!"
All heads swivel toward the door, and standing there—like some tiny menace who crawled out of a cartoon—stands my little brother.
Small, black-feathered, and gleaming with an obnoxious level of confidence, he looks like a miniature version of me. Only smaller. And much more annoying.
"I AM HERE TO REPLACE YOU!" he declares, throwing his wings out dramatically, as if he's All Might or some divine emissary sent to save the day.
Oh, gods, no.
The room goes dead silent for a second, except for the distinct sound of Kaminari choking on his own spit. Then, without any hesitation, my fellow students lose it.
"Who is THAT?!" Kaminari laughs, nearly falling out of his seat. "There's two of you?!"
"Impossible!" Iida exclaims, rising to his feet like someone offended his entire family lineage. "How did a child manage to infiltrate this school?"
"Wait... Is that a baby Tokoyami?" Mina gasps, delighted.
"Baby?" My little brother glares at her with all the authority a pint-sized bird can muster. "I am no baby. I am Tsukihiko Tokoyami, and I have come to replace my weak older brother for today!"
I drop my head into my hands. I don't have the strength for this. Not today. Not ever.
"Tsuki," I mutter through gritted beak. "How did you even get in here?"
He shrugs as if the question itself is an insult to his intelligence. "I just walked in. Security couldn't stop me. They feared me."
"They let a kid waltz into a building full of literal heroes-in-training," I deadpan. "UA: the gold standard of education."
Tsuki struts to the front of the classroom like he owns the place. "From now on, you may refer to me as Tokoyami, Junior. I shall be teaching you how to properly brood. Lesson one: Posture." He spreads his wings wide, puffing up his tiny chest.
I'm fairly certain this is what dying inside feels like.
Aoyama sparkles from his corner. "Such confidence! Magnifique! A star in the making!"
"You see, brother?" Tsuki says, shooting me a triumphant smirk. "I'm already better at this than you."
I glance around the room, and of course, they're loving this. Tsuki's a hit. Mina is practically in tears from laughing, Sero is recording everything on his phone, and even Bakugo's lip twitches, like he's trying very hard not to be entertained.
"You guys realize this isn't a comedy club, right?" I mutter to no one in particular.
"Admit it, Tokoyami," Kaminari teases. "You're just jealous. Your little brother's stealing your thunder."
"Jealous? Me?" I scoff. "I'd have to care first."
But of course, Tsuki isn't done. Oh, no. He's just getting started.
Climbing onto my desk, he announces, "From this day forward, I shall patrol these halls as the superior Tokoyami. You can call me... Night King."
Oh, for the love of— "Tsuki, you're ten."
"And I'm already better at everything than you." He grins, the little gremlin. "I'm even taller."
"That's... not how growth works, but sure," I say dryly. "You're absolutely towering over me, O Glorious Night King."
"Fear me."
"Terrified."
Tsuki hops down from the desk and prances to Bakugo's desk, staring up at him with zero sense of self-preservation. "Hey, Explosion Man."
Bakugo's eyebrow twitches dangerously. "What?"
"You look angry all the time. You ever try smiling? Or are you like... allergic to it?"
The entire room goes dead silent. The audacity of this child knows no limits. For a brief moment, I consider not intervening. This could be... educational. But then again, Bakugo isn't exactly known for his patience.
"Tsuki, we talked about provoking ticking time bombs," I call out lazily. "It's a 'no.'"
Bakugo's eye twitches again, and before he can ignite anything, Tsuki does a backflip off his desk. "Boom Boom Man needs a hug," he declares solemnly.
I am officially going to perish from secondhand embarrassment.
"All right, enough," I say, standing up and grabbing my brother by the back of his shirt. He wriggles in my grip like an angry pigeon. "You had your fun. Time to leave before Aizawa finds out and turns us both into homework assignments."
"But I didn't even get to teach them Lesson Two: How to Monologue About Shadows!"
I sigh. "Yeah, life's tough, buddy."
Just then, Aizawa walks in, his usual dead-eyed stare sweeping the room. His gaze lands on Tsuki, still dangling from my grip.
A long, heavy silence stretches across the classroom.
Aizawa blinks once. "I don't want to know," he says flatly, rubbing his temples. "Just... get rid of it before the principal finds out."
"I'm not an 'it,'" Tsuki huffs indignantly.
"Could've fooled me," Aizawa mutters as he slinks to his desk and collapses into his sleeping bag.
"See, brother?" Tsuki grins. "I got in and out without getting in trouble."
I arch an eyebrow. "Your definition of 'not in trouble' needs work."
Dragging him toward the door, I glance over my shoulder at the rest of the class. "Feel free to forget any of this ever happened."
"Oh, no," Kaminari grins. "This is never getting forgotten."
Mina holds up her phone, wiggling it triumphantly. "It's immortalized forever. Thanks, Tokoyami."
"Fantastic," I deadpan, shoving Tsuki out the door.
As I walk away, I can't help but smile a little. Sure, my brother is a tiny feathered demon sent to ruin my life. But hey, at least the guy knows how to make an entrance.
"Next time," Tsuki says smugly, "I'm bringing snacks."
Oh, gods help me.
