I haul Tsuki toward the exit as fast as I can, desperate to avoid further disaster. Behind us, Bakugo's footsteps pound like an angry drumbeat, each step promising doom.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN ESCAPE ME, YOU LITTLE—"

"Bakugo, language!" Tsuki yells over his shoulder. "There are children present!"

"You ARE the child!" Bakugo screams.

Tsuki shrugs in my grip. "Details."

I turn a sharp corner into the hallway, sprinting toward the nearest exit. Tsuki's still dangling from my grasp, completely unbothered by the life-or-death situation unfolding around us.

"Tokoyami?" he says casually, as if we're strolling through a park.

"What?" I snap, dodging a desk Bakugo kicks in our direction.

"Do you think Bakugo wakes up angry, or is it more of a 'builds throughout the day' kind of thing?"

"He wakes up angry and stays that way," I mutter grimly. "Trust me."

We reach the lobby doors, just steps from freedom—but before I can shove them open, Aizawa materializes in front of us, blocking the exit like a sleep-deprived gatekeeper.

"Where do you think you're going?" he asks in his deadpan voice.

Tsuki points dramatically. "The wilderness, where I'll live off the land and start my own bird-themed vigilante crew."

"No," Aizawa says flatly.

I shift nervously, with Tsuki still wriggling in my arms.
"Sensei, please... this day has been long enough."

"You think it's been long for you?" Aizawa replies, eye twitching. "Try babysitting this entire class."

Tsuki raises a hand. "To be fair, I've only been here for, like, two hours and already I'm the most fun part of UA."

Aizawa's stare could strip paint from a wall.

Bakugo catches up, still fuming, explosions sparking in his palms.
"MOVE. I'M GONNA KILL THAT KID."

"No, you're not," Aizawa says, activating his quirk and extinguishing Bakugo's explosions like snuffing out candles. "You're going to your dorm. Now."

"WHAT?!"

Aizawa rubs his eyes. "Or detention."

Bakugo grits his teeth, fists clenching, but even he knows better than to push his luck. With a final snarl, he storms away, muttering death threats under his breath.

Tsuki blows him a kiss. "See you in your nightmares, Boom Boy!"

Aizawa glares at me.
"Get. Him. Out."

"Gladly," I mutter.

We slip past Aizawa and finally make it outside. I set Tsuki down, and he stretches like he just finished a relaxing nap.

"So," he says casually. "What now?"

"Now," I growl, "you go home, and we both pretend this day never happened."

Tsuki smirks. "Or... we can celebrate my victory?"

"What victory?" I ask, exasperated.

He grins mischievously. "The victory of making your life way more interesting."

Before I can respond, a shadow looms overhead. I look up—and see Hawks swooping down, landing gracefully in front of us with a wide grin.

"Well, well," Hawks says, ruffling Tsuki's hair. "Having fun, squirt?"

Tsuki beams. "The best day ever!"

Hawks glances at me, amused. "You look like you've aged five years."

"I feel like it," I mutter.

Hawks crouches to Tsuki's level, grinning. "Ready to head home, troublemaker?"

Tsuki pouts dramatically. "Do I have to? I was just getting started!"

"Yeah," I say dryly. "No. You're done."

Hawks chuckles. "C'mon, kiddo. Let's go before you give poor Tokoyami a nervous breakdown."

Tsuki gives me one last mischievous grin as Hawks lifts him into the air.
"Hey, bro! This isn't goodbye. It's just... 'see you at your next school scandal!'"

I groan. "Go. Away."

Tsuki laughs, waving as Hawks takes off, soaring into the sky with him.

For a moment, I just stand there in the quiet evening, savoring the peace. Then, Dark Shadow drifts beside me, chuckling.

"He's coming back, you know."

"I know," I mutter. "That's the scary part."
