The emptiness within

Everyone is so happy,
But my smile fades like a forgotten memory.
I have no reason to be happy,
Wrapped in shadows, I drown silently.

The weight of the world, a burden I can't share,
No one will love me, and no one will care.
Why am I living?
When the emptiness inside feels so unforgiving?
Ain't I a burden to the earth,
Or a burden to myself?

Don't I deserve love,
Or am I just a ghost no one thinks of?
