Dark Lonely Night

In the dark lonely night,
Where shadows stretch and fade from sight,
Whispers of sorrow haunt the air,
Each heartbeat a reminder of despair.

Stupid thoughts of mine arise,
As shadows dance beneath the skies,
Memories flicker, sharp and cold,
Tales of a heart that feels too old.

Anyway in this world, I'll survive,
Through storms that rage and hopes deprived,
With every scar, I’ll learn to fight,
Emerging stronger from the night.

In the darkness, I reclaim my light,
With weary steps, I rise from plight.
Though shadows linger, I will strive,
In this world, I’ll learn to thrive.
