The idea of Wyatt's arm swinging across my shoulder while walking to the back of some random person's house was never something I would've predicted.

I haven't even looked Wyatt In the eye more than five times but I've heard he's the type of guy with alternative motives and almost always has a plan. I.e the type of guys to stay far away from.

"Drunk college students skinny dipping isn't the image I wanted to see tonight so if that's why you brought me back here I can leave."

"Maybe I wanna gain a new friend or perhaps get closer to you in a romantic way," Wyatt says but I can hear the lie laced in his voice.

"I don't believe I'm quite your type."

"Have some confidence, Leonie. You're every guy's type." Wyatt says removing his arm and shifting my body so we're now face to face. "That's precisely why I need you to do this very favor for me."

"A favor for you? I don't even like you."

"Ouch Leonie, way to reject a guy." Wyatt places his hand on his heart and steps back jokingly as if I'd stabbed him in the heart. "See there's a little rumor going around that Ian and you broke up. But Ian has sent out a personal threat to every hockey team in the state that if they even think about touching you... well, you can imagine the rest."

Every day since the breakup I ask myself if I dated an insane person and each day without fail the answer is yes. There's a boyfriend scale. You have the romantic nerds who design codes after you, band boyfriends who dedicate songs to you, and even sports boyfriends who give you front-row seats to every game.

You would think Ian falls into that category. But no, what do I get? The boyfriend who puts a red no-touch sign above my head to all hockey teams in the state.
This thing would make a normal person run for the hills but sexually this is the exact thing I'm attracted to.

"What the fuck?" I whisper to myself. How can I even think of something so inhuman? Maybe it's the romance novels I've read catching up to me. I should tell my therapist, that it is rewiring my mind to insanity.
