His Unrequited Love

Chapter ~ 5

Aadrika's pov ......

After staying there for sometimes I leave the party and came back with Purav bhai. Mom and dad are still there they will come back later. After that I directly sauntered towards my room and the first thing I did was to remove this sandals uffff it feels heaven to my feet now. And then I remove my clothes and changed into comfortable nightwear.

I was doing my night skin routine when I heard a knock on my door. I went towards it opened the door and find bhai standing there. I smiled and then said.

"Come inside bhai."

He came inside and I sat down on the couch.

"How are you Aadrika?"

He asked me I sat besides him,  give him a smile and said.

"I am good bhai. You tell me how are you?"

I asked him and give me a nod.

"Aadrika."

He called my name and I looked at him , he hold my hand and said.

"Aadrika I am sorry for not being able to find him."

I looked at him hold his hand tightly and give him a small assuring smile, nodding my head I said.

"Its not your fault bhai."

Taking a deep breath I looked down on my lap, tears are threatening to come out of my eyes. As I just can't live without him. He is my only hope for whom I am still alive how could dad not see this. Why the heck he is doing this. Controlling myself I take a deep breath and said.

"Why dad is doing all this bhai ? What will he gain from doing all of this?"

I asked him, he hug me tightly while I hug him back tears finally decided to not listen to my command and started to flow out of my eyes.

"I will talk to him Aadrika and this time he must listen to me."

He said to me and caress my head hearing he word a ray of hope surge through me making my heart a bit calm.

After talking for some more time bhai finally went back to his room and I went towards my bed. Laying down on the bed I picked up my phone opened the gallery, went to that particular folder and looked at the photos. Tears filled in my eyes again looking at the photos. Caressing the recent photo which dad sent me after mom's continuous bugging and pleading last night.

I placed the phone near my heart and close my eyes and don't know when I fell asleep. I woke up when I heard a knock on my door. Getting up from the bed I walk towards the door opened it and found  one of the servant standing there.

"Mam,  boss is calling you downstairs he wants to meet you immediately."

He said making me nod my head , afterwards he went from here.

What does dad want from me now. Isn't he satisfied with whatever he is doing with me. Let just get ready and see what do he has in the box for me this time.

I went towards the bathroom after taking my dress from the closet. Taking shower for sometimes I came inside the room. Fixing my hair I went downstairs.

As I come there I found dad sitting there on the couch in all his glory.

"Good morning everyone."

I greet all of them and mom come to me, placed a kiss on my forehead and said.

"Come let's have your breakfast first. After that you can do other works."

She said and I nod, dad didn't say anything, after breakfast was done I went towards dad , he looked at me raising his head a bit and I asked him.

"So what do you want to talk dad ?"

Standing up he looked at me and said.

"I have fixed your marriage."

I looked at him shocked, like he just throw a bomb at me. Well not less than that in any case. How could he do this. He didn't even consider asking me once before fixing my marriage.

"You can't do this dad, you can't just do this without asking me. You can't take decisions about my life without asking me just like that !"

I said looking at him, he looked at me with his eyes filled filled with mockery and anger.

"Yes I have seen how right decisions you have made in your life.."

My eyes filled with tears hearing him. I know what he is implying. The taunt in his voice is a clear dagger to my heart. I know I made mistake and now I am facing its repercussion.

"You can't do this dad. I will never accept this."

I said and left from there and came back to my room. Picking up my purse I went out of the house and directly went towards my office. I love fragrances a lot so I have decided to open a perfume brand. I have gain quite a good and loyal coustomer base and I will never let that trust fall in any ways. It was quite difficult in the starting though but this is really a helpful eschew from all those vexing situations.

I could heard my mom calling me but I am not in a mood right now . How could he just do that with me ? First he take him away from me and now he is forcing me to get married with someone whom I didn't even know maybe, doesn't matter if I know him or not but I will not marry anyone.

As I come out of my car the gaurd immediately come and I gave him the car keys to park the car and walk inside my office.

As I entered inside everyone started to greet me , I nod at them and directly went towards my office. My secretary come and inform me about the meeting which will start in just half an hour. Nodding my head at her I gave her permission to go and prepare everything for the meeting.

Well if somehow we will be able to impressed them with our new product so it will be really helpful for my company to open the ways in foreign countries also. So I have to give my 💯 percent to secure this deal.

Soon Alisha my secretary informed me about the arrival of the investors so I picked up my coat and went towards the meeting room.
