Chapter ~ 14

"Reyansh Rajvanshi has agreed to marry you."

As the words left his mouth, the colour of Aadrika's face fades away. She shake her head thinking she might heard something wrong.

"What"

The word comes out as a whisper from her lips. Her father looked at her and again repeat his sentence.

"You are going to marry Reyansh Rajvanshi, he agreed for the marriage."

Her father said, her mind frozed for a second, nothing is making sense to her. She told him that she don't want to marry him. She told him to back away but still he accept the proposal. Did he take the rejection as his insult ? Why the heck he just accept the proposal. What does he want from her now. Her nerves started to pop out, taking a deep breath she tried control herself.

"Priya"

Aadrika heard her father calling her mother's name.

"Raj Rajvanshi said that after three days their family pandit will come to check Reyansh and Aadrika's horoscopes as Reyansh's grandmother do everything after asking him only. So be prepared and you Aadrika."

She looked at her father when she heard her name being called, her father looked at her with stern face and said.

"I don't want any kind of problem or drama from your side in any way."

She heard her father's words but stand there like a statue. Saying so her father went away from there. Her mother comes forward put her right hand on her head caress her head and said.

"Give this relationship a chance Aadrika until when you are going to be like this."

Aadrika looked at her mother hearing her words but didn't reply anything. Her face was deprived of any emotions right now. Her mother sigh pat her head and said.

"Just think about it for once beta."

Her mother said, Aadrika left from there without saying anything making her mother eyes filled with unshed tears for her daughter. Where is her Aadrika who used to have a smile on her face all the time. What has she become now, she hardly ever see her smile and that too when she is with Aanya.

Wiping her tears away she joined her hands and pray.

"Hey Mahadev please bring back the happiness in my Aadrika's life. I hope she give a chance to herself through this marriage.

Meri bacchi ke jeevan mein aur kasth mat dijiye Mahadev, uski peeda har lijiye, ek maa ki veenti hai aapse."

["Don't give my daughter more pain in her life Mahadev, please take away her pain, accept the plea of a mother."]

A thud sound of the door echoed in the surrounding, Aadrika come inside her room and sat down on the bed. Her eyes filled with tears, she wiped her tears away and utter.

"How could Mr. Rajvanshi do this, I had told him clearly that I am not interested in this marriage."

Taking a deep breath she run her finger through her hair.

"I have to talk to him."

She said and pick up her phone to dial his number but she put her phone aside and close her eyes.

"I don't even have his phone number. Now what should I do."

Taking a deep breath she looked around her room and then.

"He has his office here in India, I will just go and meet him there directly. I have to talk to him."

Saying this she picked up her phone and started to search about Reyansh's business, location of his Indian branch and all. After sometimes she got the information, putting her phone aside she sigh and muttered.

"I have to meet him tomorrow at any cost."

The next morning Aadrika woke up early and get ready to meet Reyansh. She wants to confront him about his decision, despite her disagreement he still said yes.

She was about to leave when her mother called her.

"Aadrika."

Aadrika turn around and looked at her mother, smiling a little at her she greet her mother.

"Morning mom."

Her mother smiled back and said.

"Morning, have your breakfast before going anywhere."

Aadrika shake her head and replied.

"No mom, I have to go somewhere urgently. I will have something on my way, don't worry."

Saying this Aadrika kissed on her forehead and walk out from there.

"Aadrika "

Her mother called her but she left after waving her hand at her. Shaking her head Priya muttered.

"This girl."

Rajvanshi's mansion..

Looking at himself for one last time in the mirror Reyansh walked out after putting on his wrist watch. Coming downstairs he found his family busy on the phone having conversation with someone.

"What going on here."

He asked, Dhriti looked at him smiled and replied.

"Vihaan bhai is on video call Reyansh bhai."

Nodding his head Reyansh walk further and hold the phone in his hand and said.

"How is everything going Vihaan."

He asked his younger brother who looked at him through phone and replied.

"I am fine bhai, but I heard that you have agreed to marry. Whose that lucky girl."

Hearing his words Reyansh shake his head and said.

"That you will know, when you will come here."

He said, but Dhriti comes from behind and said.

"I will send you the photos of bhabhi don't worry Vihaan bhai."

Vihaan shake his head and said.

"No don't send me any photos or videos Dhriti. I would personally wanna meet the woman who made bhai change his decision of not marrying. She must be someone really special."

Reyansh shake his head with a smile and muttered under his breath.

"She is."

Looking up at the phone screen Reyansh said.

"Okay you guys carry on, I have to go now."

He said handled the phone to Dhriti and was about to go from there when his mother stop him and said.

"Reyansh don't go without having your breakfast."

"Mom I will have.."

He was about to deny when she cut him off smoothly and said.

"No, you are not going anywhere without having your breakfast."

Singing he sat down on the dining table and his mother served him his breakfast. After having his breakfast he get up from his place, looked at his mother and said.

"Are you happy now mom ? May I go now."

Kalyani looked at him smiled and said.

"Yes, now you can go."

Shaking his head his kissed on his mother's forehead and then walk out from there giving her smile.

"Bye bhai."

Dhriti waved at him making him wave back at her.

"Bye baccha."
