Reyansh stepped into the room and was instantly captivated by Aadrika, who stood before the mirror, her reflection shimmering in a stunning royal blue dress.
The fabric draped elegantly around her figure, accentuating her grace and beauty. Her long, flowing hair cascaded over her shoulder, and the delicate earings she wore caught the light, enhancing her radiant appearance.
Reyansh's gaze was glued to her, as if she were the only person in the world.
Aadrika sensed his stare and turned to find him entranced by her. A light cough escaped her lips, breaking the spell that held him captive. He quickly looked down, a blush creeping across his cheeks, and she playfully scolded him."Staring at someone like this is considered ill mannered, Mr. Rajvanshi."
A chuckle escaped Reyansh's lips as he grinned, his confidence returning.
"What if that someone is my wife?"
Aadrika approached him, her eyes sparkling with mischief."Not until she permits you, Mr. Rajvanshi."
He smiled at her genuinely. Seeing him smiling Aadrika felt an undeniable attraction pulling her closer to him.
"What are you doing, Aadrika?"
Reyansh asked softly as he noticed her gaze lingering on him. She quickly looked down, a hint of shyness creeping into her demeanor.
"Nothing. We should get going; we’re running late."
Reyansh smirked playfully, advancing toward her as she instinctively took a step back. Bending down to her eye level, he whispered teasingly,
"I have no problem; you can stare at me as long as you want."
Their eyes locked, and Aadrika felt herself getting lost in his warm gaze, her heart racing. She shook her thoughts away, attempting to regain her composure.
"I wasn’t looking at you; you must be imagining things," she replied, her voice laced with determined defiance.
His smirk widened at her words, and Aadrika let out an exasperated sigh."Listen, Mr. Rajvanshi…"
"Yes, Mrs. Rajvanshi?" he interjected, raising an eyebrow, his tone both teasing and alluring.
Aadrika's heart fluttered at how he called her, wrapped in the richness of his deep voice.
"We really are getting late," she insisted, pushing him away gently as she made her exit from the room.
As Reyansh watched her retreating figure, he murmured to himself,
"Aadrika Reyansh Rajvanshi, you truly are something else." With a playful smile lingering on his lips, he followed her outside.
Descending the staircase, Reyansh spotted Aadrika waiting for him in the hall. He walked up to her, and she inquired,
"Where is everyone?"
"They've already gone to the hall to check if everything is prepared," he replied, his voice steady and reassuring.
Aadrika nodded, and then Reyansh added, "Let’s hurry; everyone must be waiting for us. After all, it’s our wedding reception."
Aadrika nodded and together, they stepped out of the house.
