Reyansh was engaged in business discussions with Aadrika's father, who had to received an important phone call just before they arrived.

"I'm sorry I wasn't here to welcome you, son," her father said to Reyansh, who shook his head in response.

"That's alright, Mr. Singh. I understand you were occupied," Reyansh replied.

Her father smiled, nodded, and continued, "Forget the formalities. You're my son in law now, so you can call me Dad."

Reyansh nodded and responded, "Okay, Dad."

After spending some time conversing about business, Reyansh approached Aadrika and called out to her.

"Aadrika."

She approached him, looking confused.

"What happened?" she asked.

"I need to leave now," he replied.

She stared at him for a moment before questioning, "But aren't you going to enjoy the hospitality of your in laws, Husband ji?"

A smirk appeared on his lips as he leaned down and whispered, "I'll make sure my wife appreciates that loss."

Aadrika looked at him, saying, "You really think highly of yourself, don't you Reyansh?"

Reyansh nodded and replied, "After all, I am Reyansh Rajvanshi."

Just as Aadrika was about to respond, they heard her mother's voice.

"I heard you're leaving, Reyansh beta," her mother said.

Reyansh turned toward her, smiled, and said, "Yes, Mom, I have to go to the office urgently."

Her mother glanced at him curiously and asked, "But why so soon, beta?"

Reyansh smiled slightly and replied, "Don't worry, Mom. When I'll come to pick up Aadrika, I'll stay longer."

Aadrika's mother nodded, and Reyansh took his leave after greeting her father. Aadrika's mother signaled her to accompany him to his car, and she followed behind.

Reyansh turned and said, "I'll come to get you in two days."

Aadrika looked at him and replied, "I'm going to be here for five days, Reyansh."

Reyansh shook his head, explaining, "Our marriage reception is in three days, Mom just informed me, so I thought I'd let you know."

Aadrika raised her eyebrows and asked, "But ..." She paused

"Why didn't you tell me this earlier?"

To which Reyansh replied, "I planned to inform you tonight over a call."

Aadrika looked down, nodding as she said, "Okay."

As Reyansh turned to leave, he suddenly stopped, looked back, and said, "Take care."

Aadrika met his gaze; these little gestures were truly affecting her heart. She nodded and replied, "You too."

After that, he drove away, and Aadrika made her way back inside.

Aadrika was in her room absorbed in her work on her laptop. After sending instructions to her secretary, she closed the device and let out a deep sigh.

"Damn! we really need to put in more effort; we only have a month to finalize this deal," she remarked while analysing the new perfumes. She instructed her assistant to arrange meetings with potential investors, knowing that securing their backing could greatly enhance her brand's success. Just then, she heard a knock on her door.
