His Unrequited Love

Chapter ~ 11

"Please back away from the marriage."

She said this making him stiff on his place he didn't even say anything. He was just standing there like a statue.

"Listen Mr. Rajvanshi, I can't say no to the marriage as...."

She took a pause for a second she don't want to disclose her family's personal problems with others and make anyone look at her with sympathy.

"As my parents will be really heartbroken."

She said making him look at her, he was standing there without saying anything making her anxious. She is not able to understand what is going inside his head and what he is thinking. Is he convinced? Will he deny ? She can't pinpoint anything about his thoughts right now.

"Mr. Rajvanshi I don't want to marry anyone. I just wanted to live my life as I want but parents will never understand me and they will not listen to me. I am not interested in marrying you or anyone else so please deny this proposal. I would appreciate if you reject the proposal."

She said, now she just want him to deny the marriage proposal at any cost. She looked at him being impatient she shake her head and said.

"Say something mr. Rajvanshi. Its not like I am asking you for free so if you deny then I promise that if you will ever in your life need my help I will help you anytime."

She said and kept looking at him who was not looking at her but all of a sudden he looked her making her froze for a second. She felt something within her like a sensation passed through her spine making her shiver with the intensity of his gaze.

"Mr. Rajva....."

She was about to asked him if he will deny the proposal but her sentence left incomplete when Reyansh walk away all of a sudden. She looked at his back but then follow him immediately.

She come back and looked at the family members. Her father comes forward stand infront of her and asked them.

"So what both of you decide?"

He asked looking at her but none of them answered then he looked at Aadrika raised his eyebrows and asked.

"What do you say Aadrika are you okay with this marriage?"

He asked her making her look at him, his countenance reflecting a warning for her not to say no, gulping down her saliva she looked at her father and then at Rajvanshi's and her mother who was looking at her with pleading eyes. She looked at Reyansh and find him standing there in silence with an expressionless face.

"I think he will deny. He left from there in anger. I am sure he will never agree to marry me the way I straight away rejected him."

She thought in her mind, taking a deep breath she said.

"I have no problem with the marriage."

She said and again looked at him who was standing there like a wall. Reyansh's father looked at him and asked.

"Reyansh what are your take on this. Are you ready for this marriage?"

He looked at his father then he looked around and found everyone was just looking at him waiting for his reply. Turning his face towards his right side he looked at the woman standing besides him. She looked at him, her face showing concern and anxiousness for his answer. He looked at his father and said.

"I need some time dad."

He said making all of them looked at him but Aadrika's father who was waiting for a yes from him like everyone toned down his shock put on a smile and said while patting his back.

"Its okay young man we will wait for your reply. You can take your time to decide after it is a big decision."

Aadrika's father said making him nod his head.

"I will soon give my reply Mr. Singh don't worry."

Hearing his words Aadrika looked at him she bite her lips being anxious of what will his reply be. Shouldn't he be denying the proposal already after she reject him directly like that. Why he wants time to think?

She was in her thoughts when Reyansh's mother comes forward and put her hand on her head, she smiled at Aadrika and said.

"I would love to have a daughter-in-law like you."

She said making Aadrika smile at her.

"We will soon let you know about the decision Mr. Singh. Now we will take our leave."

Raj said making her father nod, both the father hug each other and the mother too.

Dhriti comes forward and hug Aadrika and whispered near her ears.

"I will pray for bhai's yes, so that you will soon became my bhabhi."

Hearing this Aadrika closed her eyes as here she is trying to somehow turned down her marriage in every possible ways and this girl is saying that she will pray for her brother's reply to be a yes. But still she put on a smile on her lips and nodded her head. Driti went away with her parents.

Aadrika once again looked at his retreating back and wish that his reply will come as a no.

"Well I hope his reply to come as a yes. It will also be beneficial for our business growth."

Her father said making her shake her head. That's when they heard a voice.

"Mamma."

They all turned around and found a three years old girl standing there she was actually sleeping as she was a little sick. Veronica picked her up and said.

"Uth gya mera baccha ( ohh my baby woke upp hmm)"

Aadrika looked at them and smiled looking at the mother and daughter duo making her eyes filled with tears . Her mother pat her shoulders making her gulped down her saliva.

"Mom I need to make something light for her as per as the doctor suggestions she is hungry."

Veronica said, Aadrika smiled at her and said.

"Its okay bhabhi give my Aanu to me I will take care of her till then or else tell me what doctor has suggested for her to eat, Buji will make that for her princess."

Aadrika while kissing Aanya cheeks.

"Will my Aanu stay with her Buji haan tell me."

Aanya nodded her head immediately, Veronica smiled and handled Aanya to Aadrika. She took her in her arms and the little girl immediately hug her by the neck making her chuckled.

"Bhabhi you go and make something for her."

Veronica nodded her head and said.

"Okay I will go and quickly make something for her."

"Yes you go till then me and my Aanu will play. Will you play with Buji Aanu."

Aadrika asked the little girl making her nod.

"Aanu play with buji."

She said her lips forming a pout making her look extremely cute. Veronica went towards kitchen . Aadrika's father had already left to his home office just after Rajvanshi departure as he got an important call.

"Mom you go and rest also.  I will take care of Aanya."

Aadrika suggests her mother, her mother nod her head and went towards her room to take rest for sometime whereas Aadrika went upstairs towards her room with Aanya in her embrace.

"Aanu kiska baccha hai?"

("Whose child is Aanu?")

Aadrika asked her she smiled and answered.

"Buji ka."
