Chapter ~ 10

Author's Pov......

Reyansh and his family come and Singh family was already standing there to welcome them as they heard Rajvanshi's are here after their gaurd informed them.

"Welcome Rajvanshi ji."

Aadrika's father said while joining his hands. Reyansh's father smiled and he too joined his hands.

"Come inside please."

Aadrika's father welcomed them inside and sign his wife to arrange for their welcome. She and Veronica (Aadrika's sister-in-law) went towards the kitchen and bring the snacks and drinks for the guests.

"Mom I want to meet my soon to be  bhabhi."

Dhriti said making everyone chuckled whereas Reyansh glared at but she smiled at him sheepishly.

"Dhriti wait for sometimes we will soon meet her."

Kalyani said making her pout at her mother. She is so happy from the time she got know that her brother has finally, for the first time agreed to meet a girl which takes her on the ninth cloud.

"Mom let me go and meet her."

She plead her mother who shake her head and was about to deny when Priya ( Aadrika's mother) said.

"Its okay if you want to meet her you can go, you can go upstairs, her room is third from left."

Dhriti smiled at them stand up and went upstairs. Whereas Reyansh looked at his sister and shake his head.

Aadrika was sitting on the bed drawn in her thoughts when she heard someone knock on the door making her come out of her trance. She looked up and found a girl standing there. She smiled at her and Aadrika smiled and welcome her inside, somewhere aware that she must be from the man's family.

She entered inside and said.

"Hye". She greet Aadrika.

"Hello! Please come inside". Aadrika replied her with a polite smile.

"Ohh my god you are so beautiful."

She said making Aadrika looked at her and smile.

"Thankyou pretty girl."

"My name is Dhriti and I am Reyansh bhai's sister."

She said making Aadrika smiled at her.

"Reyansh must be his name." She thought after hearing the name but soon she shunned the thought away.

"Let sit then we can talk."

Aadrika asked her to sit, she smiled and sit beside her on the bed she is such a lovely girl. Aadrika smiled remembering how once she used to be just like her. Her eyes filled with unshed tears which she immediately wiped away before Dhriti could notice.

"You know what if yours and bhai marriage got fixed. I will be most happy because I like you. I think you will look good with my brother."

She was continuously blabbering about her brother. Aadrika sigh and said politely.

"Leave your brother tell me something about you. I want to know about you now so tell me something about you."

Aadrika said , Dhriti looked at her smiled and started to tell her about her, what she likes, what she is studying, what is her favorite place and everything about her even what she don't like making Aadrika smile listening to her and the she asked Aadrika about her also.

"Ohh so you owned a perfume brand. You know what my bhai has also opened his new perfume brand. His brand name is Atapa perfumes."

Dhriti said making Aadrika looked at her and said.

"Atapa.......means sunshine."

"Yes he recently opened his perfume brand. By the way what is your perfume brand name."

Dhriti asked her making her smile and then she replied.

"Ayur. It means life."

Dhriti smiled at her and afterwards they continues to have conversation.

"Veronica go and bring her."

Priya asked her daughter-in-law, she nodded her head and went towards Aadrika's bedroom to bring her here.

Whereas Reyansh was sitting there without saying anything. He just don't want to stay here anymore. He wants to go from here as soon as possible. He was getting annoyed with every passing second.

"Ohh god where the hell did I just got stuck. I don't want to stay here even for a second. When this drama will be over and I will go from here."

He thought while sitting there, he was in his thoughts when he heard his mother gasping and saying.

"Ohh my god you are looking more beautiful  in person daughter."

He closed his eyes knowing the girl is here and he has no interest in knowing her but the next words of his mother make him opened his eyes.

"Aadrika beta come and sit with Reyansh."

As he heard the name he looked up at the girl. But as soon as he looked at the girl his world stops. He wasn't able to believe that she is standing infront of his eyes.

The woman he always dreamt of, the woman who is the reason he was going to reject her. He just can't believe on his own eyes that she is standing infront of him. She is the girl whom his father has selected for him.

"Come Aadrika beta sit with him."

As his mother said this he found her gulping and nodding her head. His mother went to her caress her head and then made her sit with him.

Aadrika scoot a bit away from him and he was sitting there like someone with the power of freezing touched him. He was still racing his mind whether it is a reality or he is having some dream.

He turned his head towards his right side where she is sitting and looked at her. Her appearance her changed a bit. She looked more mature and responsible now comparing to her past self.

But wait how is she here and why her parents are arranging for her marriage with him. Wasn't she already in a relationship with someone else. His brain was not processing and for now he don't want to.

"Well we have no problem with this alliance. But I think the kids should also talk to each other afterall they are the one who will have to spend their life with each other."

Raj said making Aadrika's father a bit anxious as he don't won't his daughter to messed anything up. But for now he can't do anything. Everyone nodded and Arun said.

"Aadrika take Reyansh to the garden. You guys can talk there without any disturbance."

Aadrika looked at her father when he said that but he gave her a look that was signalling her to not do anything stupid.

"Go."

He again said making her nod her head she got up , Reyansh to got up from where he was sitting and follow her. The man is to awestruck to say anything, his all cells stop functioning from the moment he sees her.

Aadrika and him went to the garden and stand there in awkward silence.
He looked at her who was looking down from the time she came her. Suddenly she looked at him in his eyes making his heart run like a roller coaster. But her next words make his heart stop beating all of a sudden and looked at her without blinking.

"Please back away from the marriage."
