‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "What do you mean he's back? Who's he?" Kazemi exclaimed, fear in her voice as she hoped it wasn't who she thought it was.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Kazemi, you know who im talking about," Mizuki said.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Kazemi shook her head in disbelief. "But that's impossible! It's been years since he—"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "There have been small accidents occurring over the past few months, Kazemi," the hero admitted, disappointment in her eyes as she glanced away.  "People are nearly dying, and we've been trying to catch him for months."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "This is just some sick joke, isn't it?" Her daughter scoffed.  "So I wouldn't be mad at you for leaving me here? This isn't funny! You know—"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "KAZEMI!" Her mother exclaimed, grabbing the girl's shoulders to grab her attention. "He's back, he's getting closer and closer to this area, and you need to be careful. Do you hear me?"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "You need rest." Mizuki sighed, dropping her arms and crossing them. "I know you do. You've had a long day. So go to your room and go to bed. I'll talk to you about this in the morning."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Kazemi rolled her eyes. Of course, she's changing the topic.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "You can't tell me to rest after telling me this information! You expect me to sleep without worrying I'd be killed again?!?" The girl exclaimed.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "I understand where you're coming from— I do. But you've just come back from an attack, Kazemi! This isn't something any other teenagers go through—"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Then help me through it! I don't understand why you hate being around me. It's because of dad, isn't it? Is the red hair too much for you!?!"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "KAZEMI!" Her mother shouted at a volume Kazemi had never heard her go before.  "Go to bed. This is the last time I'll be telling you this!"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The girl scoffed, adjusting the bag she had on her back before pushing her way through the hallway. "Fine."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Was he after her this time? Why would he go out on a rampage years after her father's death?

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Her thoughts soon faded away. She didn't remember how, but she was lying on her bed. Staring at the same ceiling she's had since birth.

The sea was always a part of the Ryujin family.

The seafoam that emerged whenever the waves pushed back and forth, or the sand that stuck on your feet every step you took, was something I was always familiar with.

I was a happy child. I was brought to the beach every weekend with my family to admire the sea and even play with it. My father would stand to the side to watch my mother and I play amongst the waters with our quirks.

Playing hide and seek, my mother would use her quirk to transform into water to hide beneath the waves, while I used mine to find her. My father, on the other hand, just observed. Staying on a blanket that divided him and the sand beneath him.

They say blood is thicker than water. My father, whose quirk could heal and manipulate blood cells, would always say frequently. Yet he stayed away from us.
