Lisa's POV

It was 6 a.m. when Jisoo stepped inside the condo after finishing her night shift. I was up, ready to switch shifts with her.

"You sure you don't want me to take over the night duty next time?"

I asked, Jisoo grinned, wiggling her eyebrows in that signature playful way of hers.

"Nah, I'm more energetic at night,"

She said, a bit too smug.

"You're better in the mornings, Lisa-yah."

I raised an eyebrow at her.

"I'm perfectly capable of doing night shifts too, you know."

Jisoo laughed, patting me on the back as she grabbed her stuff.

"You're so oblivious, Lisa. Seriously, how can someone be so dense?"

I didn't know what she was talking about, so I just shrugged it off. I had work to do anyway, and she left with a chuckle.

RV CONDO:

No one else was awake yet, so I made myself comfortable on the sofa, opened my laptop, and began checking the security cameras.

After a while, I heard footsteps and saw Wendy stumble out of her room, looking half-asleep. She went straight to the kitchen, grabbed some water and snacks, and saluted me with a lazy hand before disappearing back into her room.

I just nodded; she was funny.

An hour later, I heard soft shuffling again, and I glanced up from my screen.

Irene had stepped out of her room, looking... adorable. She was in these cute bunny slippers, her hair all messy, and her eyes barely open.

It's true that watching Irene with makeup is mesmerizing, but without it, she's a whole different kind of beautiful.

She looked so soft, like someone you want to just wrap in a blanket.

When she noticed me staring, she froze for a second, staring back.

I smiled, but her eyes went wide before she quickly turned around and rushed back into her room.

Did I scare her?

Or maybe she doesn't like me being here? I frowned, thinking I'd ask her about it later.

After about 30 minutes, Irene reappeared, now dressed casually, her hair still damp from a shower. She looked refreshed, and I stood up to greet her.

"Good morning,"

I said with a smile.

"Good morning,"

She replied softly.

I hesitated for a moment but then decided to ask.

"Irene, be honest. Do you or your members feel uncomfortable with Jisoo or me being here?"

Her eyes widened a bit, and she quickly shook her head.

"No, not at all. Actually, I feel safer when you're here, so I'm thankful."

I couldn't help but smile at her honesty. I reached out and gently patted her head.

"I'm glad to hear that. Thanks for letting me know."

She then asked,

"Do you want coffee?"

I shook my head.

"No food or drinks while I'm on duty."

She nodded but walked off looking thoughtful. I assumed that was the end of it, so I went back to monitoring the cameras.
