V I H A A N

YEAR 2021 (Three years back)

Today was an important meeting, one that required my full focus and attention. Yet, despite the gravity of the situation, I couldn't shake off the constant thoughts of her. I tried to mentally prepare myself for the meeting, but my mind kept drifting back to her smiling face.

She was handling the main part of the upcoming project, and I trusted her abilities, so I decided to give her the responsibility. Despite my conflicted feelings, I knew she was the best person for the job.

It was a bit early for the meeting, so I sneaked into the conference room silently, wanting to observe her for a little longer. I leaned against the wall, hidden from view, as I watched her prepare for the presentation.

As she sat on the chair and grabbed the pen, I couldn't help but notice how effortlessly elegant she looked. Every move she made seemed flawless, and I found myself more attracted to her than ever.

I watched as she started drawing something on her hand, her slender fingers moving with precision. I couldn't see exactly what she was drawing, but the sight of her concentrating on something so intently, mesmerized me.

I wondered what she was drawing and why she was doing it on her hand instead of a piece of paper. I felt a pang of curiosity, wanting to know more about her thoughts and actions, but I couldn't reveal myself and ask. So I continued watching her quietly.

I watched as she continued drawing, her expression focused and intense. Her concentration was captivating, and I couldn't look away. Despite the fact that I was hiding and observing her without her knowledge, I felt a sense of peace just by watching her.

Suddenly, she looked up and spotted me standing there, watching her. Her eyebrows raised in surprise, and our eyes met. I felt like a deer in headlights, caught red-handed in my silent observation.

I froze for a moment, unsure of how to explain myself. But before I could say anything, she gave me a small, knowing smile, as if she knew I had been watching her all along.
