Mina's P.O.V.
"Thanks for helping me get through security."Janyoung laughed, undoing her suitcase. I was thankful for sharing a room with her.
"My pleasure. You're gonna be nicer than my last roommate. She took forever to get ready.""Maybe." Let me warn her.
"But I might take a while tomorrow to do my hair and makeup."She really was the younger female version of Yoongi, I swear.
"Gotta look like a princess for prince charming, clearly."
My dongsaeng reassured me.
"You take 30 minutes max when you get ready backstage. I'm not worried. But... Can I jump in the shower first tonight?""Be my guest! I'll leave the room to you for an hour. How's that?"
That cocky grin. "Say hi to the guys for me."
"I will!" To the rap line at least, the others stayed home.
I went down the corridor and knocked on the door, after passing a security agent. The eldest of the three opened the door.
"Hey, Joonie said it was a good time."He looked behind him.
"Namjoon! Your bookworm is here!"
Yoongi let me in, trying not to smile too much.
"He did an impulsive thing. Looks good though.""Oh, no. What did he do?"
I got in and.. he was right. It looked nice, very nice. Think Wildflower haircut, dark brown colour.
"I liked the pink, but I LOVE this.""You do?" My significant other messed up his hair with his hand.
"Wanted to look good for you.""Aww~ That's sweet." But you're always handsome to me. Even when you do silly faces, or dye your hair an insane colour.
"Come on, don't be sickenly sweet. I want to throw up." Oppa!
"Then put headphones on and look the other way because I'm not gonna stop."
I left a kiss on Joon's cheek before sitting down and whispered.
"What's bothering you?"Namjoon's P.O.V.
Mean comments and articles? "Nothing."
Don't glare at me like that.
"A few things, actually."Her fingers caressed the back of my head. "Tomorrow will be fine."
"I'm not worried about the carpet."
Even if I know she saw what the media said about it. They called her bossy, attention-seeking.. Guys, if someone doesn't want attention.. They don't become a public figure. She could've stayed quiet and in the shadows after our dating status was revealed. She didn't have to walk in there with me. I never forced her to do anything. Of course she didn't hate cameras at work, idiots.
I didn't care about the what is going on with RM? stuff.. I can fix that. It's not too difficult."I hope so. I wasn't talking about the carpet either. They can call me anything under the sun, but one insult at you and I'm putting my boxing gloves on."
I love you. "We haven't shared the ring in a while, huh?"
"Right? We should have a do over."
Her lighthearted laugh eased me.
"What I said about the carpet stands for anything else. They don't know me. They can say whatever they want about it. I'm doing my job. I brought my clear set anyway, so I doubt anyone will notice. I'm wearing my hair down for everything tomorrow. You'd have to zoom in on specific moments to see.""Or get a back shot."
DON'T GLARE AT ME, WOMAN.
"Am I wrong?"She poke my forehead multiple times.
"Worry. About. Your. Own. Ass."
She stopped and sighed.
"I knew what I was getting into and I know what they might say. I'll just tell the truth, not that they deserve it. Just so they don't drag you down with me. I'm not ashamed."
